Yeah, While in stealth or cloak, if you deal any sort of damage, be it a lingering DoT, caltrops, rearming trap (even if you're a keep away). it breaks you out of stealth/invisibility. I would love to see it so that only dealing direct damage (which is poorly defined as it is) breaks you out of cloak/stealth.

Hey thanks for the answer. That's interesting. I could get behind it being changed to direct damage, but that doesn't sound like it's high on zos' radar, nor should it be imo.
Sounds like this isn't an issue with vicecanon in particular.

It actually is an issue that has been flagged a long time ago. I believe it has been acknowledged but it has not been fixed yet. Dots should not break you out of stealth. In fact, I can place on players 3 different types of dots with my build, but it is only the Vicecannon dot that takes me out of stealth (but only when it procs on DKs with reactive armor on). It is AoE damage that is supposed to reveal you, not DoTs.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could you please enlighten us and let us know if it is going to get fixed?

nobody from ZOS ever chimed in to clarify? Can we get a referee call here? The previous poster was correct when he said that ZOS had previously stated that DOTs should not take you out of cloak.

Basically the reflected damage is occuring first which makes no sense.

no, yer hallucinating! After all they've said they fixed CLOAK every patch for the last 10 patches! It couldn't possibly still be bork'd could it?
