Combat/Targeting question from a beginner

Just quick question with respect to targeting in combat.

Let us say I fight two mobs (a caster and a melee) with my stamblade.

I cc the caster mob (eg : Agony) and now the melee mob is aggroed and is coming towards me.

As I move while sniping (bow) on the melee mob sometimes I accidentally move my cursor towards the cc'ed mob and dmg it by mistake and hence CC is broken.

This was not the case in my previous experience (as my current casting spell/ability was locked with my target) with WoW.

Hope I am not confusing .

Q:

Is there a way to lock my cursor onto a target unless I cancel the currently casting spell/ability actively (by pressing ESC or something) ?
Or
Are there any recommended combat addons (that kinda clearly shows the enemy target) ?

There's an option in the Controls menu called "Cycle Preferred Enemy Target" to select/target specific enemies. Is that what you are looking for?

You can tab target them, it will show a white outline. Not too sure if it will give you more cursor leeway though...

As stamblade you shouldn't use agony just sayin
And no you cant lock target

Agony (and also Cripple) are amazing utility skills for a Stamblade, Agony especially good for vMA and Cripple for PvP.

As other said, you can tab target, but doesn't lock your attacks onto them, but does seem to increase that enemies "target box", so makes it slightly easier. This is one of the reason pet sorcerers are so powerful, you cannot reliably hit them.
