When one of (if not the) biggest Eso YouTuber is on the edge of quitting a game he has been so passionate about for years. It a pretty obvious they messed up.

If ZOS really wants to "shake up the meta," you don't have to do that by nerfing iconic class skills to the ground. The current meta was caused by the champion system and removal of softcaps. Removing CP and putting some type of caps on attributes would be the best way to shake things up.

If you just limited the effect resource pools had on damage/heals/shields, you could get rid of battle spirit and that would really open the game up to some unique builds.

I'm not a huge fan of streamers. But they do have a very good handle on the mechanics of the game (and rightly so - it is their livelihood afterall). When the game is being so drastically altered that it makes these guys want to quit the game, then something is terribly wrong.
I'm not a huge fan of Deltia but I watched the above and I have to say that what he says makes a LOT of sense. I'm cancelling my sub and avoiding the game for the forseeable future. I'm not paying another cent to ZoS, for them to turn around and literally destroy my characters that I've spent YEARS creating and refining.

@ZoS - get your priorities straight. Stop alienating your playerbase and instead LISTEN to them. But you won't, will you? You just want the money. *sigh*

pfft.. Fengrush is not one of the greatest streamers. That is your fanboy showing. I've seen a few streamers and I would have to say Deltia is one of the better ones.

Did Crown ever stream? If not I wish he would have, he seemed like a very smart player and would make a great streamer.

PK gel, PK Pomade, PK Natural Shampoo and Conditioner. Speez is a personality and comedian. Moontan is PewDiePie's doppelgänger. Jules betrayed the COVENANT and used being a female to climb through the ranks of the Pact. Krotha curses too much. Faso and Kodi still can't legally have an alcoholic beverage on a stream.... I mean it goes on and on and on.

Who is the guy that jumps on stream not to sell something or to over act a personality? Who jumps on stream, casually has a beer and is there for the sake of ESO itself? Who made his streaming career pushing and lifting up a single alliance, the COVENANT!? FENGRUSH!

This is going to be how it is from now on, it happens with every mmo, new class comes out, new class crushes every other class into the ground... Finally new class is nerfed to all hell... Then new class is announced and we repeat process.

For Examples see: WoW, Tera, Neverwinter and Guild Wars to name a few.

Expansion packs do this. It's not normal dlc. Vast, VAST majority of changes and updates are going to require Morrowind after it launches.

Not buying it won't be an option at some point.

I've only played ESO, but the things I have seen in the last 2 years makes me upset. A long time ago when they nerfed my vampire stam regen I cried like a baby. I had a very hard time adapting and almost quit. So guess what I did? I went searching for other games and found one that sounded interesting. I paid $450 for CU, and now am just waiting for beta 1. ( which is soon )

Did you see what I did there? I paid another company $450 dollars, and that money could have went to ESO. Changes do matter to me.

I would love to say ESO was the only game I ever played, but I don't think that is gong to happen.

You don't have to buy anything in Legends, it's completely F2P and the rewards are quite generous. I bought the recently released expansion entirely with in-game gold. And the community is still great.

Well that would be true but does Morrowind add any new system of progression? It will be like thieves guild. If you don't have access you won't be doing MOL trial or have thieves guild skill line. It is an expansion, however progression isn't tied to any content in the game.

I am still undecided if I'm sinking another dollar into this game and if I really want to buy Morrowind despite it being a favorite of mine from the single player series.

Deltia had a point they gutted all classes and it looks like the warden has all the new cool buffs in the game plus looks superior to any other class right now. Talk about selling your new expansion and new class....Iv played enough games to know they will nerf that warden in the next 3-6 months several times and people will be pissed about the nerfs....I guess enjoy the OP warden for the next few months

Deltia is right, people who stick around here are doing nothing but feeding one greedy ass company and have nobody else to blame except themselves. Leave TESO and level up in real life instead of funding the developers lifestyles! They're nothing but a bunch of leaches who sugar coat the money grab with edgy CGI movies and the illusion of change for the greater good. The community has very little input as proved over these passed 3 years and all the devs want from you is for you to waste your time here until the next wave of cash purchases become available (cosmetics and lottery crates) with the hope you become hooked on them and then spend more real life $$$.

The changes are coming like them or not. Liklihood is there will be further changes that nerf your favoured class or mean you can't use the play style your used to. It's inevitable.

You have 2 choices, suck it up and adapt or quit the game.

Moaning on the forums does zero to change ZOS's approach.

Deltia's value to the ESO community is that he produces content (youtube vids, website info) that is accessible to the community. I'm not a youtube fangrrl type, most of them are as annoying as fingernails on a blackboard, but Deltia's stuff is useful, especially as a starting point for newer players.

Is his rant about the Morrowind expansion somewhat overly dramatic? Yep. Are his points (nerfing healing in existing classes to make the new Warden more appealing and a "must-have" for "serious" players) valid? Indeed. Do most mmo expansions with new classes do something to make them super appealing? Uh-huh. (However, most mmo's also allow players an extra slot for a new character with a new expansion.) Am I having serious doubts about finishing out CP on my healing Templar (currently CP 348) which I made when I started playing ESO 3.5 months ago? Yes.

I haven't yet invested in the Morrowind expansion. Maybe I'll just catch up on some reading and movies and enjoy the nice spring weather as well as work on getting some of the event skins for OW:Uprising instead of pouring a lot of time and effort into ESO rn and see where all this goes in three or four weeks.
