That we have to pay for the additional 2 character slots instead of getting them for free considering the high cost of the chapter.

You don't need 12 characters anyway.

I already have 12 characters completely leveled.

I think my favorite part was this:
"We're going to finally give stamBlades more sustain. Right after we nerf the hell out their armor and spells."

I suppose I'll see nothing from stamBlades other than spamming siphon in order to try and recoup the health lost because of the friggin' nerfs.

I picture an office separated by 4 areas at ZoS HQ. Each is labeled "Templar", "DragonKnight", "Nightblade", and "Sorc".

The Sorc area is decorated with intricate gold overlay. Members of this group have their lunches catered on silver platters. There's a giant sign over the area reading "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!"

The NB area is enclosed with cubicles just shy of rotting wood pallets. The windows are cracked, and the only view is of an old factory. Members have to dumpster dive for their lunches, but only after the Sorc group has already eaten. There's a huge sign over their area reading "ONE OF THESE DAYS... PERHAPS."

The DK area is pretty a pretty common sight. Atypical cubicle walls. Lunches are brought in by the group or they go out to McDs. They have no sign, but there are slight moans of agony one can hear if you listen carefully.

The Templar area has recently been revamped, with a new sign: "IF YOU WANT HEALING, GO TO MEDCHECK. WE GOT NOTHING."

Walk past the area and we enter the executive suites. I must say, I didn't think unicorns existed, but there they are, riding them while burning every subscribers money. Each office has the same sign: "A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE AS THEY'LL THROW MONEY AT THE SCREEN."

They're laughing at us right now.

I suppose I should try and be more respectful, but even I can't ignore these changes as being "balanced".

I'm not angry, believe it or not.

I'm literally too stunned to feel any emotion. Even optimism has a limit and these patch notes just kicked the crap right out of it.

Oh, and I should also point out: MORE CP?????????? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS??????????????

The fact everyone didnt see this coming and is upset about it all is pretty laughable. This is what balancing looks like. The game was over inflated with damage and sustain. The sustain took a huge hit, rightfully so. Next on the list in my opinion is changing the monster sets that deal to much damage or offer to much healing/mitigation.

The fact that the massive gutting of the champion system tacitly ADMITS that CP was the source of the power creep that is destroying the game and yet they still give us 20 more champion points.

Yeah so power creep caused by CP led to the nerf based destruction of almost every cool class skill, passive, mechanic in the game so we are finally nerfing it. But we are also going to take one more whack at all your favorite skills and passives and oh, here's 20 more of the thing that we just nerfed.

    Had me in stitches.

Softcaps prevented all of this. You want to control sustain. Regen in 1.5 was limited to the equivalent of 1.3k. Didn't have to nerf awesome skills. Just nerf ridiculous numbers.

Trust me this isn't a bad nerf for gankers. This nerf only effects bad gankers who only know how to click 1 button and global someone by stacking crit damage into 1 attack. The gankers who are slippery, use proper combos with heavy attacks and proper use of shadowy disguise will be fine.

Any combo that uses Snipe, Wrecking Blow, Onslaught, Bow/2H Heavy attacks as an opener will be nerfed pretty hard. The least nerfed ganking play-style due to this change is actually my Duel Wield heavy attack nb. Since DW's heavy attack is cut into 2 attacks, only half of my opening heavy attack benefited from the increased crit damage anyways.. so i wont be effected by this change much. Still a nerf to my build but not so much compared to other ganking builds.

The stun is the most important factor for a stealth player, if i had to choose between the stun, guaranteed crit or crit damage it would be the stun. Glad we still have it.

Stam nbs have the worst pve dps... so expect to be kicked from dungeons or trials regardless if your trying to join elitists.

The Warden looks great, did before these 'fixes'. My only complaints about it are that it seems like it doesn't actually mesh with itself, and that we finally get a 'cold mage', and it doesn't have access to a Frost Atronach summon? Sorcs get Storm, but where are the rest of our Atronachs??

As for these notes... the thing I found 'funniest' was Vigor now costs 30% more?? That on top of the base increase in stamina abilities (said from 20% cheaper to 15% cheaper?) makes Vigor pretty costly. Part of why this is incredibly wrong to do, is that players who do PvE have no access to a stamina-based heal unless they go dip into PvP (which irks PvE players to begin with), then to put it at rank 5, means the player now has to do more than just 'dip' into PvP, rather, spend a considerable amount of time there. I know, for PvP players, rank 5 isn't considerable, but to someone that despises PvP, it is a TON of time and effort.

So, to reward players for doing all of that, they enjoyed a reasonable stamina-based AoE heal. But, now, that is being 'fixed' so that all of that work rewards a somewhat expensive stamina-based heal to go along with reduced sustain and more costly stamina-based skills. Ummm... Yay? Why?

    "Skill Line Unlocking
Newly-created characters will now have all skill lines hidden except for the 3 from their class, the goal being to improve a new player’s experience by reducing the initial number of skill line choices to a more manageable number. "

Really?!? People were complaining about this? It seems like such a silly problem. But after I stopped laughing, it made me sad too. That initial depth, up-front, was part of what made me excited when I first started playing this game. "It really is like Skyrim, where I can build my character the way I want," thought I! As a new player, am I really too "dumb" to start looking at different weapon abilities without getting a killing blow with one, first?!?

In an MMO, the world should be overwhelming in the beginning. That's what makes it feel like there is lots to explore and learn. And it was something special about ESO.

Runner-up was: New ESO Plus Benefit: Double Bank Capacity

Craft bag was a neat benefit to subscribers. But this just means you no longer have any reason not to let me buy a guild bank for my small guild!!! Now motifs stack, recipes stack, I have a craft bag, and double the bank space. Is the reason that "storage needs to be limited for the economy" still valid if my tiny guild would like a little shared space?!?
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

I agree. By limiting skill choices it is like ZOS is strongarming you to do as they tell you.
You have fewer and fewer freedoms. This is slowly becoming a very non-elder scrolls game. ALL of the elder scrolls games have always had the freedom of choice. It would be ideal if all the classes were abolished and you just picked from a wide pool of skill lines in the Character generation.
