Agreed where are all these duels? Especially the supposed duels on crafting stations? Never seen a single duel at or on the crafting stations. Nor in the bank. Much ado about nothing

If dueling is ever disabled around cities and wayshrines, it should only be on consoles since they have no way to improve their performance to deal with it.

I don't think it should happen at all, I'm just throwing that out there.

PC players who have frame rate issues because of it need to either learn to play with their graphics set to spec appropriate levels or upgrade their potato. Those people need to not be so god damn selfish and try to take content away because they can't run it. That isn't elitist my-rig-is-better-than-yours nonsense, it's called learn-to-set-up-your-****-properly-or-gtfo.

For the people who just don't like it because of the noise, it's called turn your effects sound down for the few minutes or however long you're in the area. For the PC people who get annoyed at the visuals but don't have fps issues, it's called you're in an mmo and people are going to do s*** you can't control. Get over it.

For the PC players that do have a good rig and still have issues (somehow), you're either in an unfortunate location when it comes to ping (which the rest of us shouldn't be punished for) or there's something wrong on your end that would require diving down the settings/drivers rabbit hole. Again, don't take from the rest simply because you can't run it.

I can't be kind about this because really the only crowd that has a legitimate reason to call for it are the console players, but they're not the only ones doing so.


TL;DR = People who have ways to improve their performance or minimize the impact dueling has on them when in a given area need to do so and not try to take from the rest of us because they're too lazy to change graphics settings permanently or audio settings temporarily.. Console players who don't have the means to do that, please air your grievances.

There should be specific places allocated for duelling not only does it get out of hand and cause massive lag it really clutters up certain areas!!
Not to mention the arguments I've seen between to players cursing and blinding in general chat for hours after a duel..
I get sick off high cp lvl idiots hitting lowbie cp players up for a duels because they simply suck and can't fight at there own lvl!!
I don't duel its a pissing contest I don't need ...
Im sure i suck but fact is it gets really annoying ppl spamming duels at you!!

There actually is a place ZOS specifically created for dueling, it's called Hammerdeath Arena and it's in Stormhaven.

Floki is indeed correct, one of the many reasons to restrict dueling to outside of cities and away from busy areas.

If only ZOS had taken the time to specifically craft and crate an arena for dueling...

My only argument against this that people have always stacked up and spammed AoEs in high traffic areas.

Now they just duel, instead of loudly screaming at one another and seeing how many white kids can use the N word the most or seeing which girl can be mobbed by the most desperate guys.

It's all the same really, only difference is now the same annoying person spams me with duel invites rather than invites to his lame guild once I spawn in to a location or go to an undaunted location.

That's not really a valid argument though

It's all toxic behavior and shouldn't be tolerated.

And most of it is also reportable, especially the middle example you offered.
