I don't really believe we will ever have a great experience with group finder as it was before. Yes, comparing to its current state it was really great before. ZoS don't even acknowledge there's is a problem with GF.
the entire reason they do a "readycheck" is to make a point against this behavior, its selfish to make a team wait because you cba to pay enough attention.

60 seconds is really that selfish?
What would be selfish is jumping into group finder, going afk and forcing your group to kick you and wait for a replacement. I really don't see how a 60 second wait (assuming everyone else is ready instantly) is being overly selfish.

the system as it was would go ahead and port you in, which stops all other players from there various playing. At that point if you are afk all you are doing is hurting the team, and while you may say its "only for a minute" I know that isn't always the case. So now we're stuck with the "give him a minute" which leads to frustration, which leads to kicking, which leads to waiting for another player.
I mean if you really cant find anything else to do in eso but afk until a pledge pops (which with the GF these days can be quite a while) then why bother at all?

I pretty explicitly said I was still at computer in the OP, no afk'ing, so the longest it would take me notice would be the 60 second autoport (in the old system). We are not legit saying 60 seconds is wasting everyone's time?
I can see how the ready check prevents people afk'ing into dungeons though, never saw that as a major problem, however.
