Just add a recharge timer to keeps and resources and some of the farming will go away.
If you really want it to go away, give the most AP for the central keeps and don't reward AP for recapturing the same keep in a half an hour.

Less time larping as a cat, and more time working on your build and this wouldnt be a problem.

I'm impressed my builds had that much impact on the casual community, but my choice in privacy tools while I stream is hardly seems the issue for 100 of players getting lured into 1vX situations by players using broken abilities and then being toxic to them. At least ZOS cares enough to give them an alternative farm method before the well dries up.

Just had a fabulous idea. Make keep capture quests gives 6k ap and capturing a keep only give a 1k base and then resource capture quests worth 2k ap and capturing resources worth 250 ap. This way you cant really farm since youre going to need to turn in the quest every time you want to make ap and the casual players can still make decent ap but it wont encourage zerging a keep just to get a tick as much unless you happen to have the quest for that keep. This will also encourage players to better spread out around the map because they will be more incentivized to go to whatever keep or resource they have a quest for.
As a PS4 player I feel this will create a new, exciting style of gameplay for me!How does this encourage spreading? It is rewarding you a base amount negating group size lol.
We are reaching levels of potato that shouldn't even be possible.

You know the most logical solution is to simply make both defense and offense base AP rewards the same. This would solve all the issues that sneaky is concerned with.

Just curious, how does that fix anything? My main concern is the fact that this week you will be able to do close to 1m ap/hr by farming O ticks which is ridiculous. 75 hours to grand overlord like WTF. As far as accomplishing what they had intended the new ticks to do I feel they have failed. As ive said elsewhere if you make it so that the keep and resource capture quests give the large amount, 6-7k for a keep then that would encourage people venture off to take whatever keep they have the quest for and then go and turn that in after. This would stop the farming because the farmers would need to turn in their capture quest every time they capture the keep so they would not be able to viably get back to the keep every time they take it. IMO this should be the answer to any keep tick problems. It still allows the zergs to make more ap by playing objectively but it requires them to go to a specific keep which is probably out of the way to make that ap thus helping to reduce players stacking to get an o tick and lag.

There are times I wish that names could be shared. I would really like to know exactly who would whisper another guild to take part in exploiting the system. Even if ZOS opened the door for this to happen, guild leaders and players should have more respect for not engaging into this kind of behavior.
It was me. but mind you sneaky whispered me first about something totally off topic. Once I shared the information or the how to do it, he came running to the forums to drop salt. I was just being nice and sharing with him the mechanic that apparently everyone had already noticed, makes me wonder how elite some players really are.
I don't need to think about this cheesy garbage because I can make ap. I like spreading players out as much as the next guys but sometimes its just stupid getting 6k for an o tick when theres 60 people PVdooring a keep. For instance tonight, just as lols we havent really done any ap farming and are making 80k ap/hr w/ no ap buff just by running around following the 80 man and freely taking keeps and resources which is kind of ridiculous. AP was already much easier to make w/ the doubling of the value of players than it was at launch. Just a bad decision on ZoS' behalf overall and just another reinforcement of what they are doing to this game.
