To be fair, their is actually quite a bit more depth than that in sports (especially baseball, my sport of choice), but that depth is rarely talked about in mainstream sports media since that requires actually thinking.5 -

That is mainly an issue with nonsensical interviews after matches than with the sport itself. Which the players (and fans) themselves are absolutely aware of.

Bones are used to make bonemold gear, but they aren't in their "original" state, shall we say. Morrowind had this book that tells how the first bonemold armor was made. http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Bone
Skyrim had an "improved" recipe for bonemold....
Ingredients:
4 cups of bone dust
1 cup void salts
1 bottle of netch jelly
1 cup of ground stahlrim chips
1 bucket of fresh water
Add the bone and void salts to the water and allow them to soak for at least a full day. Then add the netch jelly and stahlrim [sic] chips to the bucket. Stir over a hot flame until the mixture begins to harden. Pour the mixture into the desired mold and set the mold in the center of your forge. Fire the mixture in the forge for at least a half day. Let the mixture cool and then remove from the mold.
Neither one says the bones stayed in their original shape.

Those players are almost superhuman, and perform with talent and execution in amounts that 99% of people in the world will never approach in any venture they do.
