Ideas for ESO Plus

    What I'd really like to see added to ESO+ is a transmog and/or a Create Your Own Costume system.

    It's about time this is added in the game, and many people have said it on this thread but I'll add my voice to it: give us the option to change our gear style to whichever motif we have (drop gear included, don't make it like the Imperial conversion which is near useless now...).

    Making our own costumes would also be a lot of fun. I love how some heavy armour styles look like with a destro but no way I'd ever actually wear heavy in PvE. Since we can now wear costumes, disguises and skins to hide our vampirism and gear weight, it won't be any more misleading to wear a medium armour costume if we're light users than how it currently is.

    Lastly, the crafting bag equivalent for furniture, since not only it's starting to take up a lot of space, you can't even deconstruct it. :s

    Siege equipment bag. Or at least just make them stackable. I shouldn't lose 30 inventory slots because I go into Cyrodiil prepared. Go figure.

    Armor appearance customization by piece.

    Some ideas:

    - Unlimited armor style changing. I'd love to transform the appearance of certain dungeon sets.
    - A siege bag. (But I think everyone would love if siege stacked.)
    - A furniture bag.
    - Some form of armor storage that is not the bank.
    - The ability to bank those gold collectible boxes left over from the holidays.
    - Weapon dying. (But this is another thing I'd love to see as a base game update for all players, like shield dying was.)
    - Free crown crates sometimes.
    - Free appearance changes, or 24-hour period where after using a token, we can go back and keep tweaking the appearance if something looks wrong again in-game. Also a period where we can tweak appearance after initial character creation.
    - A discount at the skill point and stat respec shrines.
    - A public trading/sales system.

    I would like to see a search facility so if you're looking for a certain item, you can enter it into a search and it will bring up a list of guilds and where they are selling it so you you know it's available. Furniture craft bag, more bank space would be brilliant.

    I would really like to see a faction change option. I left the game for about 8 months and now I am back and through the group finder tool have made friends with DC peeps, but when they want to pvp I can not go with them as all my characters are EP. Yes I know I could grind a new character but I don't want to have to delete one just to start over in DC to play with friends.

    House sharing please . I need it . We need it . Everyone wants it . Please make it happen . This is a great way to improve ESO Plus membership . It doesn't make sense at all if my wife can't put her stuff in our house . Needs to happen . There is an another thread in General Discussion about Pledge Or Mara as well . Please take a look at that too . Great suggestions there .

    Unlimited recustomization for the duration of the ESO Plus membership. This would make all the cosmetics available for purchase more appealing.

    Or, like in Black Desert, $10 for unlimited recustomization for 30 days. Because usually what looks good in the character creator looks a bit off what you actually get in game.

    What would be better if it was put in-game with a cost of gold like in WoW.

    Looking at the other benefits of ESO Plus, none are really appealing. I'd rather buy the DLCs outright rather than pay for access. The 10% buffs are a big whopping meh. The only one that seems even a bit worth it is the Crafting Bag but you can go without it however much the game makes inventory management inconvenient.

    Maybe access to Personal Banker and Merchant while you have ESO Plus? The price of these seem excessive.
    Winter-Time
    by Robert Louis Stevenson
    Late lies the wintry sun a-bed,
    A frosty, fiery sleepy-head;
    Blinks but an hour or two; and then,
    A blood-red orange, sets again.

    Before the stars have left the skies,
    At morning in the dark I rise;
    And shivering in my nakedness,
    By the cold candle, bathe and dress.

    Close by the jolly fire I sit
    To warm my frozen bones a bit;
    Or with a reindeer-sled, explore
    The colder countries round the door.

    When to go out, my nurse doth wrap
    Me in my comforter and cap;
    The cold wind burns my face, and blows
    Its frosty pepper up my nose.

    Black are my steps on silver sod;
    Thick blows my frosty breath abroad;
    And tree and house, and hill and lake,
    Are frosted like a wedding cake.

    Statistically speaking, if there were a furniture bag, there'd probably be less furniture on the market in guild stores, and prices would stay high as fewer people feel inclined to unload their "junk furniture".

    It has probally already been mentioned, but add loyalty rewards. This could be things, such as small daily log in rewards, just like in GW2.

    It could also be monthly or even yearly subscriber rewards, just like you used to do in the past with the loyal Senche Tiger mount and loyalty pets.

    People will do crazy things for rare mounts in this game...

    I am think that there are no houses in the DLC areas 'i.e. Gold Coast' because an ESO plus member may purchase one there, be able to visit it and then if their subscription lapses lose access.

    So to get round this, a loyalty reward that after a year they gain access to a DLC for free even tie it to having a house in the location. That way us Imperials can purchase houses in the Gold Coast and not Craglorn or some backward wood elf stinking land.

    Perhaps the reason no houses were in the DLC area's is something different but this seemed the most logical and an easy fix for people that have been and intend to remain subscribers so don't have a great deal of need to purchase the dlc pack.

    Aside from that I'm still hoping one day to see a sword motif that is a traditional fantasy blade that is a simple blade ending at a point with a decent cross guard and hilt. Almost like the Breton one only without the massive hilt that makes it look silly, or the Dunmer one without being wavy. I'd be happy if such a motif was a loyalty reward for putting up with 2 years of ugly swords.

    <Poll was created for the following under general discussion>

    With the new players coming to the game, there is a large gap in waiting to get your horse maxed. Yes there are crown options, but the one thing that has been overlooked is the demising utility of the ESO Plus Membership. With one DLC being turned into a chapter, i would very much like to see some more support for the Loyal ESO Plus Members, and incentive for new players to become ESO Plus members. So in preparation for the announced Warden class and the addition of two new optional character slots i would very much like to see the following, OR at least a variation of it.

    ***It would be nice for ESO Plus members to be able to cut their feeding times in half. Instead of having to wait 20 hours to feed your horse, you can feed it once every 10 hours.***

    I had been about to post that ESO Plus members should get faster horse feeding improvements. I like @Blacknight841 's general idea, but would rather ESO Plus members get twice the benefit from feeding (that is, 2% per feeding, once every 20 hours).

    This seems (to this denizen of Tamriel) like a simple and not game-breaking bit of help for ESO-plus members that would be appreciated and add value.

    There's a lot of good ideas in here, but I would vote against locking much anticipated systems such as transmog and general QOL updates behind ESO+. That would send the wrong message to the players who came here on the premise of a B2P game and à la carte purchase of new content/cosmetics. Loyalty rewards, more Crowns, discounts and more inventory convenience are fine imo.

    I'd argue that the point behind most of the benefits of ESO+ is pure QoL. Access to DLCs without needing to buy them individually. The crafting bag.

    Transmog really should be base game, but it's really nothing at all important to gameplay and is really only a QoL change that prevents you from needing to recraft entire sets whenever you want to change the style.

    Sure. But many players came into this game because it dropped its subscription. If features that are currently inconvenient/lacking etc. will only be fixed for those who subscribe, leaving those who prefer à la carte purchase behind, that will only widen the gap between the two playerbases and give the latter the message: you bought the box, thanks, we'll care about you and your suggestions/complaints again when you sub.

    If they need to be locked behind a paywall (which I'm against), make it so that they're locked behind a Tier status as it were, which ESO+ members automatically attain, and B2P players after they've spent X amount of Crowns in the Crown Store.

    I'd much rather see important QoL features available for everyone. The fact that they're needed suggests flawed game design. Luxury QoL is ESO+ stuff.

    Hi everyone,

    We’re so excited to be bringing The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind to you a little later this year, and hope Matt’s article that was published a couple days ago cleared up some questions you had about our future plans for Chapters and DLC game packs. In addition to bringing new Chapters to you during the second quarter of each year, we do plan to continue offering DLC game packs during the other three quarters which will still be available to ESO Plus members as part of your subscription.

    We're currently exploring new ways to add even more benefits to the ESO Plus membership in addition to what we currently offer, and would love to hear any ideas you have in this thread. We look forward to hearing what you suggest, and thank you for your feedback and continued support!

    1.) Add Unlimited Character customization for subscribers, players should be allowed to fully re-customize their avatar for free with ESO Plus any time we wan't, as well as be able to equip all character unlock packs they purchase via the crown store. (How many developers does it take to screw in a light bulb?) All of them? If there is one thing I could change in the MMO Industry hire people who can do things right from the start?

    If the developers say making unlimited customization is too hard simply put in a ESO Plus only purchase tab that offers daily offers for being a ESO Plus member randomly, and set the unlimited customization change ticket to unlimited purchases /uses but fix it so a player can only buy one and use until they use so they dont stack its not very hard to add some lines of code.

    Put in $100 crown shop packs $39 isn't enough anymore.

    Add some sexier Elven houses in the wilds I mean (The big mansion type ones.)

    Add Farming to the game (In Housing) so players with big Mansions can plant and grow crops for cooking & Alchemy?

    Add houses with Mine, and Forest that can be logged?

    Or it could simply be that to get a house in a DLC area you just have to be subbed or have purchased the DLC outright. If subbed and your sub lapses your gate out into the world could just put you out in the "old world" somewhere instead of the DLC area. I know player houses are in specific spots of the world but there's no rule saying it has to be that way and no reason why you can't just get dumped at a starting city wayshrine for your faction when you leave your house if for some reason you lose access to the DLC it is located in. Having to HAVE access to DLC to get a house there in the first place would incentivize players to either sub for at least awhile or be just another reason to purchase the DLC.

    As a new player and non-subscriber, this is what would push me over the edge. (Also, it is amazing to see a thread like this. I love it!)
    • faster horse training
    • max inventory size
    • max bank size
    • cash shop discount (on top of monthly crowns)
    • a few crown crates every month
    • exclusive motif/tabard
    • exclusive title

    And bonus crazy thought... a cheaper option. Personally, I don't like purchasing multiple months at a time and $15/month is a little much for me, even though this game offers amazing value. A solution for me would be to have two levels of Plus Membership, something like "Merchant" and "Noble" - I'm an Elder Scrolls lore noob, so just make those lore-appropriate.

    Noble: $15/month with all current benefits + the above.
    Merchant: $5/month with max inventory/bank and crafting bag + half the number of crown crates every month + exclusive motif/tabard (different than the "Noble" level) + exclusive title (different than the "Noble" level)
