    Item Sets
    • Desert Rose: Increased this item set’s proc chance to 15% from 10%, but also increased its cooldown to 4 seconds from 1 second.
    Developer Comments
    Due to this item set having a low cooldown, the Magicka restored by its proc was very high in situations where you were taking lots of incoming hits every second. Increasing the cooldown but also increasing the proc chance maintains the current level of Magicka returns when you are taking one hit every second, but keeps it from being extremely overpowered when you were taking multiple hits every second. The Magicka returns of this set will still remain higher than any other item set in heavy combat situations.

    You there just destroy the only one item set that was useful for heavy magicka DK =\ DK's skills cost extremly high ((

    Hopefully they finally lower the skill costs for DK. Running out of magika plagues mDKs in both PvE and PvP right now.

    @timidobserver getting over 2k mag back per damage per second is ridiculous. Really you need to stop thinking like that its overpowered in many situations and needed the nerf. and for the sake of akatosh TRY IT OUT!!!!
    complaining and crying wont be listened to back when they released the notes on pts for the weapon ults many were shouting to the heavens that the staff ults were going to be lackluster and underpowered BUT LOOK AT IT NOW the biggest complaint is how staff ults are overpowered. its a full 360 degree flip

    Why did you reference me in your post? I haven't said that 2k+ Magicka return isn't overperforming. My post in this thread said the nerf was justified but overdone.

    pts might be broken. I crash every time i swap weapons and then cast something. Did more testing. Every time i hit a target with mDK ability engulfing flames i crash

    I freaking called this.

    This is ice block's fault. Ice block ruined this set. RIP.

    I predict it would be way too op with ice blocking..

    Then they should have nerfed broken ice block instead of ruining a niche set that people love.

    I would rather have a few hard to get powerful sets then a bunch of broken mechanics.

    from what i remember from my nb, teleport strike isnt a true teleport, but is more like a fast run. Templar has a similar move called explosive charge, and its the same visual on screen: Your at spot x, then zoom zoom into the spot y. (also fwiw: it also has the same glitches, get a someone to use volcanic rune in a small cave setting, and if you time it right you can end up on top of the dungeon (out of play area)... doesnt help combat wise, but it is still funny to watch my tank roof my other dps. Also works on the nb mobs when they do that jump over you move. lol.

    I think they just skimped on the name because 'run really fast strike' wouldnt fit in the tool tip holder.

    Except for the fact that it is by far the best escape and disengage skill in the game, bar none. Bolt escape allows you to completely escape from many situations and is still extremely powerful. Its just that instead of mindlessly spamming it you have to combine it with other tactics such as dodge rolls, sprinting with boundless up, and defensive rune to successfully escape.

    I guess the furnishing crafting book of this new patch doesn't cover everything anymore.

    PS: On a brighter note; I do like being able to preview what I'm crafting

    After fighting a Target Skeleton, you will now get a report via the chat log indicating your damage per second as well as the length of the fight.

    Just caught this. A very nice qol addition.

    One change that stands out to me is extremely nice

    "Fixed an issue where weapon swapping to change to an item set or ability set that that granted Max Health, Stamina, or Magicka was causing unintended drops in resources."

    Wouldnt call this set unusable. Its currently ridiculous return. Good change.

    Edit: Not quite Decon trash as I misremembered the amount given on a proc (around 2K). Still, getting more resources than magicka furnace requires ideal conditions are met and little down time, i.e. actually getting hit consistently for a minute and getting a string of 15% procs. Lich is easy mode compared to this.

    Plus I'd get the magica return out of Magicka Furnace and Lich without having to be a punching bag.

    Classic case of ZoS over-nerfing something into uselessness. I'm glad I waited before wasting my AP on this

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Is it possible to put the lights back the way they were and let us determine if it effects our game performance-adjusting them accordingly? i have added more and more lights and couldn't figure out why everything looked dreary and dark no matter how many i put in. Then remembered you said you'd adjusted them to help game performance. It alters the look of the entire place dramatically to only have them light up when you get close to them

    Can you show me the talented Stamina characters that solo'd all the vet dungeons?

    There are talented players for every kind of class and resource type. What @Komma was stating is that there is a very real power different between classes, and resource types. And ZOS did nothing but widen that power gap with this patch.
