There are rocks on either end of the ledge that look like you can climb up there, but invisible walls stop you....

I really love the Redguard Architecture but the real appeal of this type of house is the flat roof. The skybox for this particular house is so small however that you cannot get on your own roof or build stairs up to it. Invisible walls crush your dreams.
The medium Redguard house ports you outside to the city if you go on the roof but this one is fenced off so its a much better candidate for rooftop porch and BBQ.
Please move the skybox up a bit for this house so my rooftop garden dreams can be fulfilled.

I tried to build a walkway up to the roof as well. I can walk right up to the edge of the roof but I cannot walk onto the roof. There are invisible walls extending from the walls of the house straight up on all the sides that I could test. I suspect it is designed this way on purpose, but it would be awfully nice to be able to build a nice sitting area on top of that flat roof (even if it made the purchase cost of the home a bit more).
I understand invisible walls are necessary, and had been mostly satisfied with them in general, but I hadn't tested it to this extent. Something must be done! The big issue I found was in regards to the volcano on the island resort. Let me play in the lava, it's healthy for my draconic skin.
In general, I definitely think the height limit needs to be pretty high to accommodate some more creative ventures, like floating arenas and 3D mazes and such. Food for thought!

The invisible wall stopping us from reaching the island at Hundings made me cry.
Can we please reach that island?

They wrote in the last patch notes that they moved the slaughter fish further away but I've been testing and that doesn't seem to be the case. So there is hope maybe they plan to let you at least get to the beach on that far island.
So I finally got around to buying Twin Arches to try out decorating it. I knew (thanks to this topic) that there was an invisible wall that stopped you getting to the roof but I hadn't appreciated until now just how stupid it is.
I had assumed it was because the top of the map was so low down there wasn't space between it and the top of the terrace for you to stand up there. As I understand it that would be very hard to fix because it's literally the top of the map, it'd be like trying to make a piece of paper bigger so you can fit your drawing in.
But now I've started experimenting with it I've realised that it's literally just invisible walls placed along the edge of the roof. You can easily get high enough, and with it being a redguard house a roof terrace would make complete sense. It's just blocked off, for no apparent reason.
The invisible ceiling inside Forsaken Stronghold.
Rage.
Went inside and discovered some lovely shelving high up on the wall. Lots of storage ideas and a loft.
Excited.
Made a ramp up there and I cannot get to these nice shelves. Items only on these shelves.
Which means a lot of lost ceiling. Why? Why this?
The small and medium sized Khajiiti homes suffer from the same problems.
Indoors there is a huge space below the roof that is simply cut off by an invisible ceiling.
The slaughterfish aren't the problem. I built a walkway above water level so the slaughterfish couldn't get to me but just beyond the point where they appear there's an invisible wall, so I still can't reach the island.
Thanks to @Kallipsoe for the pictures. There is an invisible wall in the middle of the tower. You can build up to the top of the tower in order to gain access to the tower however you can only go about halfway on the top of the tower before you hit an invisible wall. The attached screenshots show me at the limit of advance due to the invisible wall.
