I have been playing eso since day one release and for the most part I have been enthralled by the game. It has gotten better and better in almost every aspect.
Since One Tamriel was released, however, I can easily get to the character select screen and submit which character I want to play to the server... only to be told that either the server has timed out or an error has occurred. I work from early afternoons until 11 pm at night so I am not trying to log in during "peak" hours. I am trying to play between midnight and four am EST. I try to log on for hours since this is pretty much my go to for relaxation time and to de-stress from work and yet I can't get on in the wee hours of the morning because the servers are so full of players that even when I do get in, on the rare chance, I catch lag like crazy from all of the players in Grahtwood's capital.
I have comcast business class and I have 100Mbps download and 20 upload and my video card is top notch and I have 32Gb of ram on this computer, so it is Not my rig or my internet speed. I also do not have processes going on in the background causing this issue.
I have been an eso plus member for months and months. I am a master crafter and I have been learning traits literally around the clock. I have my phone set with an app to tell me, "hey, a trait is finishing in an hour, are you ready???". I have quite a few traits at 9 already but still have plenty to go. I have invested a lot of time and money into this game and now,... I can't get a character in to play it. I also am a member of four of the best trading guilds in the game... guilds which require that I earn money and actually play the game every week or I get booted from the guilds. I would love to oblige them but once again... I can barely get in or play.
Please.... do something about the servers. I love the game but if I can't play there is no use in being a part of the community or game anymore.
