That made me laugh.
Now I have a vision of your fiance insisting that you surrender your ESO account to her, changing your password, and then playing with your characters if front of you in ways you neither dreamed of nor intended.
There's one thing to look forward to... when the complain threads about buying 10+ scamcrates without getting the mount people want start, we can say "told you so". And I will take great pleasure in doing so.

We're still planning to publish the December Crown Store Showcase this week (likely on Wednesday); it will be a separate article, though.

Doing this will only increase the percentage of ZOS' income that come from the gamble boxes, which will only speed up the deterioration of the game that they will create.
I'd like to get several more months of enjoyment out of the game before it becomes nothing but a skin for gambling. If the only thing that makes them money is the Crates, that sad day is going to occur much sooner.
If you love the game but know what Crown Crates mean for it, please continue supporting the game in other ways. It's the only thing that might offset the damage.
I disagree. If this decision has been made, nothing is going to stop it.

I wish she knew how to play. Sadly she isn't really into video games

Sorry. that lonely gamer in his parents basement stereo type is to hard to pass up.
@ZOS_GinaBruno , you should try the tried and true method of distracting from negative news by releasing Update 13 on the PTS next week! ;-)

Maybe she is just all in my head and I am going crazy from spending years in the basement. I haven't seen the light of day in 5 years!!!!

Odd how nearly every response to my post seems to imply that I think continuing to support the game financially in other ways is going to stop the deterioration of the game, which I don't think is a valid interpretation of my words. I don't think we can stop the process. I do think that cutting off funds from sources other than Crates speeds it up, though.

My decision stands on not purchasing the crown crates, no matter what the article says, they will not suddenly become monumentally interesting to me.
I know that some people are going to buy a bunch and put out videos. It will be interesting to see them from a variety of people.
And I wonder what will be happening in the forums tomorrow after people read the article. And again after release.
