Apparently this is to give a in game equivalent to the upcoming huge xp scrolls coming to the crown store.

"Use the Aetheric Cipher while the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe scroll is in your inventory, and the recipe scroll will transform into a Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia Recipe scroll."

Does this mean that this is to be use on a COMPLETED recipe for og psijic ambrosia?

It sounds like you have to re-grind the 7 recipe pages AND find the Aetheric Cipher to learn the recipe. Then you have to make Psijic Ambrosia AND find rare Aetherial Dust to make one of the new Mythis Aetherial Ambrosia.

    Grind away, crafters.

What I get when I read that is this:

1)Have the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe Scroll in your inventory (and yes it sounds like it needs a NEW recipe )

    2) Once you aquire the Aetheric Cipher

    3) Use the Aetheric Cipher so that it will then transform the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe Scroll into the Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia Recipe Scroll.

    4) then to make the Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia you need one unit of Aetherial Dust and one Psijic Ambrosia drink

    5) Done

Pretty much........and just about what i was expecting, an item in the game to be craftable and equivalent or better than the cash shop Crown Crate scrolls, but yet no doubt designed to be practically impossible to obtain.

I am just waiting now for them to do something along the same lines with upgrade tempers, it will happen for sure, just a matter of when.

So not only do you need an un-used Psijic Ambrosia recipe scroll, you need to already know the base recipe to make the base ingredient (or buy it off someone who does).

    That's...yeah. :\

But if you have to use a recipe that you have not learnt and you only have 1 Provisioning character, then that would mean you would have to learn it on another character who has Provisioning and not learned the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe yet.

And what if You don't have another character that has learned Provisioning?
That would mean you have to go through the whole process once again of leveling up Provisioning on yet another character.
I would assume that is not what Zos has Intended here. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, this is an insane grind. Designed to allow them to say that it is in the game, for people willing to spend days, or weeks, on it.... but, hey, look over here at these shiny Crown Crates, you can get one TODAY if you spend enough Crowns!

Wait so I have to pay another 200k for a recipe again???? Surely the recipe is already in my inventory / Shalidors edetic memory or whatever.

Right so as soon as we log on we all go and gobble up all fragment parts for sale and triple the prices. ..good one zos. What a *** idea. Sorry but it's the most lame idea you've come up with. You really disabled the game for this shite? Guess you'll be adding in the 13th toon slot to crown stores asap too.

Yeah that is what I do hope they mean. Because if they mean you have to go and level up Provisioning on 2 different characters in order to make this.... I can see lots of RAGE coming from the implementation of this.

I don't know about you guys, but I personally find that an XP boost does in no way justify the amount of grinding/effort/money you have to put into these Ambrosia potions, whether the old or new one, whether to buy or to make them yourself. :)

I don't think you get how it works.

You have to have 2 Psijic Ambrosia Recipes.

One you use so you can make Psijic Ambrosia, which is needed to make a Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia.

The second so you can transform it into the Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia Recipe.

At least that is how I am reading what is written here :

To craft Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia, you must first find an Aetheric Cipher.
This extremely rare item can potentially be found on any monster within certain areas, listed below.
You also need a Recipe Scroll for Psijic Ambrosia.
Use the Aetheric Cipher while the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe scroll is in your inventory, and the recipe scroll will transform into a Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia Recipe scroll.
This recipe can only be understood by those with the highest rank of the Recipe Quality Provisioner passive.
The recipe for Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia calls for one unit of Aetherial Dust and one Psijic Ambrosia drink.
Aetherial Dust is very rarely found on the resource nodes in certain zones - it can appear on ore, raw cloth, fallen wood, alchemical herbs and mushrooms, and water sources. It is not found on monsters.

Since we are all still a bit confused on the exact method in which Zos intends for this to be made.
I am using the above (what I just wrote here) to assume that Zos does not intend on us leveling Provisioning up to Max on 2 seperate toons in order to make this new recipe.

    Hope that makes sense.

For all that goes into learning and making this thing, I'd have hoped that you get more than 50 minutes out of it with maxed provisioning passives. Like 2 hours at least.

I never bothered learning psijic ambrosia, not going to bother with this either.
