Block spears! Edit: Also major defile is a must against magicka templars.

If Templars don't have toppling charge they have no CC, makes fighting them a lot easier.

Excellent tips and great gameplay. That sounded like live commentary also, which is pretty pro if you were able fight people and break down how you were doing it as it happened. I subbed also.

Yeah lol...subbing is inevitable. I've been struggling against the meta for awhile. Have been trying a few things out. Not much seems to be working. I think most of my problem is lag. The other biggest issue I have with gamplay is focusing. I KNOW what I need to be doing. But when I start to fight all that goes out the window. Biggest thing holding me back from being "pro" so to speak...

So yeah id love if you could post stats/ gear. I was thinking five soulshine in jewels and weaps. With five heavy kagrenacs or seducers with skoria. And a two piece regen set on back bar like transmutation.

Also really nice use of spear shards.

You should consider 5 lich (jewels, 1 armor, destro staff) 5 soul shine (Snb, 3 heavy) 2 heavy grothdarr/skoria. Regen tops out at 4k not counting ritual and your effective spell damage is over 3k for sweeps, beam, and flare. Everything procs skoria if you want more single target burst, grothdarr is better for group play

but for TL DR, i am running 2 skoria 5 soulshine and 5 spinner. Full damage build

ahh i recorded it beforehand and commentated it after reviewing it. Can't do both at once because there's too much going on in my head and in game during a fight

Very insightful video. Love watching players who are able to admit when they make mistakes ... it's an excellent sign it's honest introspection rather than massaging their ego.

Thx! yea my mentality is pretty simple. For every lost fight (against a zerk or not) there is always room for improvement

Wow, our play styles and CP's are almost identical. I run fasallas/will power/torugs instead of Spinner/soul shrine. Really messes up the tanky group meta. But your pure dmg set up is also juicy. This video should pretty much be the standard for what dps magplars should be in PvP. It's a shame only a few on NA have figured it out.

I only played in EU PC server so I cant comment much about the magplars in NA. However, u got to bear in mind that templars in groups are just too important and too good for healing thus not many of the templars are used to being the one that do the killing(besides using beammmmmmmm....). But it really come down to what playstyle u like. For me obviously the offensive one!
