PC/NA ~ Troll Guilds Taking Traders!

Ok. Sorry for the "click bait" title, but, after 3 years here, I'm posting my first real "rant".
In Davons Watch, the guild trader, Tanur Llervu, has been occupied by the same Trading Guild for over 2 years, basically since launch.
Last week, I noticed a "NEW" guild had taken the spot. I was shocked as I have tried bidding that spot several times, and lost. So, I check out this "NEW" guild and they have zero listings.
ZERO!!!! NONE!! Not even 1 lockpick or Ta!
So I think, ok, it might be a fluke. Maybe the GM of the normal guild forgot about new bid times and this "NEW" guild just got stupid lucky.
This week, go look, and again, this "NEW" guild had the trader and still has ZERO listings! ZERO!
As I said, I have bid on this spot and I know it goes for 750k - 1.5 million, maybe more. How can a guild win a trader like this with NO LISTINGS!
Simple, they are a "Troll" guild that was made by a big guild with deep pockets and took that spot, with nothing to offer, just out of spite, so the other guild can't have it. (This is my opinion, not proven, Yet).
This is just wrong. Period!. I am GM of a mid size guild and we struggle to get and keep a decent trader, and a empty troll guild that can get a prime spot 2 weeks in a row is outrageous!

Please ZoS. You know the issues with kiosks and bidding and the need for more guild tools. Please..Find a solution to this abusive behavior. Perhaps set a minimum of listings to hire a trader, refund bids of "Empty Guilds" and give spot to next highest bidder. Something.
Ok, end of rant. It just really pissed me off to see this behavior from a crappy guild when so many good, struggling guilds cant find/keep a good kiosk.
And to the GM's who promote this kind of childish, cut throat, *** tactics, well, there's a special place in Oblivion for you.

Try going to Rawlkha, there you can find another guild trader goes by the name "Old....." something, with also zero listings.

Maybe they feel justified being erected spines to everyone on the server, because they feel we need a different trading system. Even though this one works fine when people aren't being such.

yes ive heard through guild chat in the trading guilds im in that there are some people out there making bids then not stocking the kiosk, some sort of anti trading guild or troll guild or some such emo meme group, cant remember off hand, but there you go. If they want to waste their time and effort for no constructive purpose then all the power to them pfft..

i agree with you OP, but, as a customer and never wanting to be in a trade guild let me show you how [i, just me] as a customer feel about this type of shenanagens.

i need something to make pots or armor or whatever, lets say i need 20 worms as an example. and i need these 20 worms every day or every few days because i dont have the time to farm these worms.
ok, so i go from town to townlooking for a store and each store i look at has no worms
so i spend the next half hour going from store to store in ALL zones looking for just worms. well low and behold i finaly find the right store! i buy these said worms and every day i come to said store and buy said worms! perfect! every one is happy!
right?
wrong! what happens is then after i get in habbit of going to this store some jerk decides that HE wants that store now there instead! and i now lost my suplier of worms! so i now have to again spam zone chat "WTB worms paying well!" this angers me and several other people and also now i have to hunt for the worms all over again. this is a vicious cycle that has to stop.

we need more guild stores, i hate this hunting thing. if this keeps up at this pace then eventually i just i dont know ... i hate it.

Just to clarify, the guild that has had this trader for years is named "The Auction House".
I personally love this trade system in ESO. Yes, it has problems and needs help, but I like the current system.

The true victims are the players. There is only one trader in Davons Watch. It is right by the crafting stations. Now a player who needs some nightwood or some other mat to do their writs or for what ever must now travel to Ebonheart to buy items and travel back to Davons to craft it.
So it is just not fair to other trade guilds it is not fair to the players also.

Two Guilds I am in lost their GT's this week also. And 4 of the 5 guilds my Husband is in lost theirs as well.
These are all guilds that have had the same GT for quite a long while.

I know last week in the 2 guilds I am in they both ended up having to move to another trader from the GT that they used before that ( both GT's were ones they had had forever).

Maybe someone is trying to put all the trading Guilds out of business???????

More Kiosks is probably the best solution (along with some interface improvements along the lines of Awesome Guild Store) would go a long way to making this trade system palatable for folks.

people can have more than 1 account and same person can have more than 1 guild and i know there are cartel like people and they own bunch of trading guilds and they split up profits and monopolizing *** eso trade system worse than general AH.

Assuming you are correct here. How long do you think a situation like this can last?
Seems to be a pretty decent gold sink.
Perhaps someone "rage-quitting" and showing his/her discontent as the last hurrah?

On the bright side, that's a lot of gold being purged out of the system if these troll guilds are bidding millions for a trader that will not give them a lot of return.

I've not read all the thread, but some guilds may use a spare guild to hold their spot while checking out a differnt location.

This may be what your experiencing, and it's legit.

they should only allow bidding of traders to guilds that have existed for 8 months or longer

This happen, especially in Rawlkha because there is cartel that stabilish the same bid for every guild in that city. Since most of the guilds don't bid at all because they are afraid that the bid is way to high this cartel keeps the bid relatively low.

But, every once in the while, some other guild overthrown their bids with a random bid.
