Spriggan bonus not working?

anyone tested this out? I've heard someone say in chat that the bonus doesnt work if you have sharpened weapons.

✭If you are applying major fracture AND have sharpened weapons AND use Sprggins AND fighting against (PvP) a light armour opponent, then you are wasting penetration and will be doing no additional damage.
What resistance do npcs have? If it's under 11k then Spriggin's will do nothing (if you use sharpened + major fracture).PvP Defensive Set Comparison

Solus✭✭✭✭Gotcha, idk someone in chat was saying the 5 piece set bonus wasnt working in game. Like it was broken? But yes i use all of those, (Surprise attack/ shrouded daggers) sharpened weapons (mace and dagger) So my pen is probably overkill.
