Which Maelstrom stage do you have crashes on?

I've only crashed once in the arena. It was on normal so it was insignificant and can't recall which stage.

I usually crash upon entering the portal taking me to Stage 8 after killing the Argonian Behemoth.

Are we talking the computer your using or the operator. My PC has never crashed in there. Me on the other hand that's a different sorry.

Where's the option for "I've never crashed in Maelstrom?" PC Master Race

(Actually, I've crashed at the end of Stage 2 a few times, but it turns out that was caused by an addon, which the addon author promptly fixed. So it wasn't ZOS's fault or Maelstrom's fault.)

On a more serious note, I don't get why people complain about Maelstrom performance so much. Maelstrom is more stable than other dungeons and trials, and I actually have better performance (and bar swaps that actually work!) in Maelstrom than in other instances. Trials are the absolute worst for me--I've often ran into barswap and responsiveness issues in Trials that I've never, ever seen in Maelstrom.

I didn't get any crashes, stutters, or lag until this stage.

After getting mullered because I couldn't move a few times, I eventually abandoned the entire quest and gave up. Haven't been back to it since.

And this is normal MA, never mind Veteran.

Stage 7

Not so much crashing as the game fluidity turns quickly to molasses making it difficult to move or use skills reliable until I reload ui or relog.

I also have frequent bar lockups on my stamina-based toons as it gets into some state where it thinks I'm sprinting.

I've blue screened a couple times but not enough for me to tie it to vMA on ps4.

I never crashed, but I get fps drops and a lot of lag if I mess up and let constructs pile up on stage 4.

Never crashed, but Spiral Shadows lags for me, like I can hear the boss charging up his lightning attack, but he wouldn't show anything.

Entering the portal from stage 6 into 7 it'll crash during the loading screen, which sucks when doing leaderboard runs cuz its like a 10k+ score loss.

Either loading in on first round, last round or going through portal to round 6. Only does it 7 times, and it's happened everytime.

I crash entering 6 to 7 everytime. I finally got my flawless last night but no achievement cuz I crashed even though I still got on leaderboard...

Stage 2 after killing three bosses. Stage 5 after killing archer on first round. Stage 6-7 travelling vetween. And sometimes stage 8 when boss glitches out and spams you wuth moves after dodging.

I had one crash this year, but not in vMA and it was probably a ReShade/SweetFX crash.

It is rare that I actually completely crash, but my FPS tanks like clockwork when I get to stage 7 (not the stage for lag). It happens every single time. It then struggles until I clear the arena, but 7 is the worst by far.

The most common bug I experience on a magic toon is where my staff stops firing (light and heavy attacks), which also affects overload. You basically just sit there and punch the air. I have found 2 solutions: Die or if possible, un-equipping and re-equipping your weapons, which usually gets you killed anyway. I would say that I experience this bug at least once about 80-90% of my runs.

@Lonewolf26 On Stamina, I get the "stuck in sprint" bug. 2-3 times a run. This is not as bad as you can just double click shift and it usually fixes it, but it can certainly cause a wipe if its at a bad time. The other bug I have had a few times is where my single target abilities wont fire. I can cast things like hail, trap, hurricane, but I cant do a rapid strikes, rending slashes, and my heavy attacks dont hit anything. Again, only solution I have found is a death. It happened to me 3 times in a row on the stage 2 boss on my Stam DK last night, which definitely caused a rage quit.

@code65536 That is so strange as it is the exact opposite for me. I have been baffled for almost a year as to why a solo instance is by far the worst performance I experience in ESO with the obvious exception of Cyro near a crowded keep. I would pay good money for a copy of the arena that I could run remotely to take whatever server nonsense there is out of the equation. I have NEVER had what I would call a bug/lag free run. I really dont think its my PC as its pretty high end (980TI, etc). I suppose it could be an addon, but I have run this with all but the most basic addons enabled (FTC, Srendarr) and I still get the problems.

As for trials, I have been running VMOL 3 nights a week for 3 months. I can count the number of times I have crashed on one hand, and most of those were right after a patch. Outside of VMA, I would rate my ESO performance as 9/10 on average.

Not sure about all the complaints you're hearing bUT the Xbox crowd has it particularly rough when it comes to Maelstrom, so a lot of the complaints I have seen have been thatm
