i'm probably gonna just save up a bit for a while in anticipation of the golden's loot table being expanded at some time to include some of the newer monster set pieces...

I was re-speccing one of my characters skills last night, and, was wondering if I might need to start using siege shield

is it still a thing that you can't ride your mount on top of the keep's outer walls?

not sure exactly why i'm still so concerned with AP...but, i am curious as to what effect the new scoring rules have...

are players defending more now?

or, is it still just a bunch of pvdooring?

So happy I'm sitting on about 8 cold fire ballistas - they're probably going to be totally ineffective after Tuesday (Not that they were that effective on their own before, but if I hit the same spot as a random fellow cold-fire operator, we could occasionally melt some enemies together)

Go to Cropsford after Summerset comes, buy a set that is predominantly 3 pieces, like the original poster said Potentates. Open the bag and decon the jewelry inside. This is what he is talking about.

And yes, bloodthirsty trait that is coming does an additional 9% more damage to targets with 25% or less health.

You can also craft jewelry for sets like Julianos and Hundings. So it’s worth it for sure!

He’s being serious, the update made siege really hurt, Scattershots and Meatbags in particular do way more damage

Yes, and large groups are using more catapults than ever on a keep capture peppering the walls and oil pot areas.
Didn't help that I was on DC on Kyne with noCP dominated by EP. lol
They did a blanket buff across the board to both CP and noCP where siege already hurt more.

okay then, i had been using ballistas for pretty much everything (trebs just take too long.to setup, fire, and then tear down)...

guess though I need to go pickup some scattershot catapults...

considering the game will actually be a prequel of sorts to the other games - it'll be interesting to see what weapons and other gear we'll have access to...

i've still yet to find a weapon in any game more fun than using an electrified chinese serrated sword while on psycho jet

hmmmm, now that i'm thinking of it - murder of/by crows (from bioshock infinite) is actually a pretty close second...

I think pvp is finally dying there are 3 bars ad 1 bar ep and 1 bar dc in vivec ad has owned the map all day had to go to shor just to find a fight

I imagine once summerset drops the pops are going to really go down, plus - battlegrounds will be a pvp option for everyone now...pve folks no longer have to "grind" AP in cyrodiil for vigor and caltrops...

I don't imagine will see much in the way of player participation until mid-year mayhem hits sometime in july...

I doubt many PvE casuals will head to Battlegrounds to unlock Vigor over just going to Cyrodiil and following a zerg around PvDoor'ing. Battlegrounds is a slaughterhouse for randoms.

@geonsocal Fortnite squad! Sorry I couldn’t stick around for more. Groceries came home...

I tried to play some ESO before Fortnite but it just wasn’t happening for me. It was mostly three bad guys on a resource around Ash or Roe while 90% of AD was gating red. I’d go try to get a resource and between the players and the NPCs I couldn’t get anywhere.

haven't had a chance to get back out in to cyrodiil in the new campaign...i did see that AD had already grabbed a nice lead...

People complain about Nes/Gooch's group and their ball zerg mentality, but they do it very well and they are always worth a lot of AP when you kill them. I spent 10 minutes in Ash this evening picking people off from their zerg with my Stam Warden... they finally got me when I ran out of tripots. They took the keep, but I took about 12K AP from their hides. Werewolf Hide is great for ults... but I'm probably gonna have to farm a lot of Bone Pirate to get the 2H / axes I need. Sustain is just not there unless I give in to turtling up. I have no problem with 1v1s, but cost poisons just wreck me.

I’ll tell you what I told some other folks about farming Bone Pirate,

Get a NB toon or both if you have 2 NB
Go to the dungeon and look for/pick the chests in the areas leading up to the daedra boss.
When you have exhausted all chests log onto the other NB toon
Repeat til you have all the items you need
Profit

I got a butt ton of bone pirate material doing this on my NB toons. Including 2H sword, 2 axes, couple of bows and shield.

Yeah, I did the exact thing you're talking about when farming Burning Spellweave. Never got my inferno staff, but I have enough armor (in the right traits) and jewelry for 6 toons. I'll have to look for a map of chest locations.

Don’t forget with Blackheart Haven, you can use the pirate disguise to move around freely, just watch for the wolves and you’ll be good.

If I remember correctly, the first area you pop into has 5-6 possible chest locations, then after you go behind the argonian boss there are a couple or more chests that can show up there. The big area where the argonian boss is at, imo, has the best chest locations to get to and the most chests you can get to.

Logged in this morning after the update went to brk red was trying to take it i defended it against about 15 reds me and three other ad did we waited for the defense tick and it was 56k yup defense ticks are outrageous right now lol and need a little nerf if you ask me i wanted defense ticks to be increased but not by that much

The siege scatter shot and meat bag aoe is amazing for kill box defense.

Most held alessia off using 5 people, my scattershot siege against the blue emp group.

Pretty impressive stuff.
