    good change tower farming was just one of many issues ruining this game at least ZOS did something good this time.

    Nah, there were soooo many counters to tower farms. This change was not necessary.

    LoL at the tower farmers. The only reason it worked it because of the delay in the door and you are mad that its a buggy system you can't abuse anymore.

    You can still tower farm, you just have to do it smart now. No more, oh crap here is a zerg lets go in the tower.

    More like, ok lets set up a tower farm and have 2 people flip the resource.

    Proper planning prevents *** poor performance.

    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    Oooooh I was envisioning no way to get into the tower. This makes more sense. Yes!! Now defenders can aim siege in at them better. I like that!

    It means they listened my suggestion and removed doors to remove tower farming problem.

    Well you have my thanks. The tower farming has truly been game killing for me. The sheer amount of time DC pugs get sucked into those over and over again makes it impossible to direct them in zone. And when they die because of the door glitch it makes them even more myopic about dying again. :frowning:

    They should have just made towers always susceptible to siege.

    Removing the doors just makes towers somewhat useless...

    I don't need the door to kill others I kill others without it.Bad play is allowing 30 people to chance after you and when you try to fight them back they take reduced damage that's bad play.Don't get mad because you got farmed while in you 80 man zerg it was a bad change.They just told small groups again you don't try to get away from the 30+ man zergs because they will kill you no matter what you do.

    I think that anyone who is positive to them removing doors of resources needs to try out playing outnumbered by a f ton. The people who are positive to this change, are probably the people who get rekt in 24mans by 2-5 people in a tower. But then again, ZOS is known for making changes to appeal the zergling PvPers instead of small scale PvPers, that's for sure.

    All in all, removing doors is bad for the people who enjoy playing in small groups because it gives a small advantage for the small man, while the 24man zerg has a HUGE advantage by having so many players compared to the small group.

    I LOVE this change. And not because I run in 24 mans. I don't. I am solo 95% of the time anymore. But because I see this as a way to more efficiently and quickly mop up stoopid farmers.

    I don't believe that. I think they've seen the shenanigans and were annoyed by them like most of us are. And I applaud their efforts to curb the ap farming.

    Yeah... annoyed by something you can actually avoid. Logic isn't your strong suit. Doors are just a chance to be able to regroup for the incoming a$$ blasting that is about to take place when that 20+ group comes in wanting to wreck those 3-4 players inside.

    @god_flakes you are not going to get anyone that enjoys tower farming to come over to our side. The same way you won't understand the enjoyment of said tower farming.

    It's fun for them to use a broken mechanic to be able to kill 100's of players, nothing you can do to change that.

    This "we go there to get away from the zerg" is b.s.

    if you want to tower farm, you set it up in advance, if you are trying to get away from the zerg you can rapid up the steps out the back.

    They just took their toys away from them and they are mad.

    Also, this isn't 1vX online nor is it 5v24 online. This is a AvAvA game, not balanced for small man, so yes they are making it more difficult for a small amount of players to farm a large amount of bad players, this is a good thing for the health of the game.
    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    You are a free kill even in a zerg Jauriel. Anyone who is positive to this change needs to realize they are positive to the fact it is a change that only makes it easier for a large group to zerg down smaller groups easier when a zerg already has the advantage of having double or triple the players. Do you zerglings really need more advantage than you already have? 3 to 4 times more players than the small group, aoe caps, healers? But let's nerf the VERY few and minimal advantages small groups have, right?

    Sad.

    So if you are on a resource with a group of 4 and 20 show up. What course of action would you recommend to the group of 4? Fall over and die? Run away while getting gap close spammed? Make a last stand in the tower? Looks like ZoS wants to increase the amount of zerging.

    There are certainly stupid people that go into towers with full raids, but towers are generally a last resort to cling to life while getting zerged.
