Don't worry, I've been telling all of the senches (stupid autocorrect tried to change that to stenches) and bears that you taste terrible, and that you're all gristle. None of them want to eat you now.I won't ride something that would just as soon eat me as look at me.
So, Horses and Guars only.

I'd say grab it if you want the panda mount There's no chance to get this within 7 Crown Crates without consumable items getting in your way
I've actually had that running through my head since I posted this:dodgehopper_ESO wrote: »I'd say grab it if you want the panda mount There's no chance to get this within 7 Crown Crates without consumable items getting in your way
I jokingly call it a Panda too, but really that coloration is more like a badger.
Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger

I would recommend Bears of any type for PVP. They make you more visible and hence easier to Gank.

Because that big faction logo hovering over your characters head wasn't visible enough?
Honestly, this is a great mount, a proper quality retexture. I hope they keep this up for future limited-time mounts.

The stupidly large Faction logo plus the Bear makes you even more 'special'.
The people at work look at me funny if I start doing that out loud...dodgehopper_ESO wrote: »I've actually had that running through my head since I posted this:dodgehopper_ESO wrote: »I'd say grab it if you want the panda mount There's no chance to get this within 7 Crown Crates without consumable items getting in your way

(Un)fortunately it does that for me too. Humorous, but usually better kept to one's self.

You know what mount gives the smoothest ride? The striped senche. Somehow it even seems like a smoother ride than any of the other senches... But that's probably just in my head.It looks fine. It's fine walking. It's the riding animation that I'd need motion sickness pills for.
Given the amount of riding that can be required in Cyrodiil, animation comfort is far more valuable than aesthetic. I'll take an ugly mount that rides smoothly over a beautiful one that rocks like a boat in a heavy storm.

Elloa, could you preview gambling boxes for comparison? You know, make some unboxing videos. I need to know whether they are worth it not!
I won't ride something that would just as soon eat me as look at me.
So, Horses and Guars only. I also have an issue with Lore and mounts, and Horses and Guars are the only lore correct service animals in the TES world.
I think this bear is really nice - it goes well with different climates and I think Elloa showed it off pretty well - like always, she is always doing well with this kind of stuff.
Btw @Elloa, I miss the english video discussing the gamescom event - I saw your news in french but I understand currently too little french to follow the content in full. Will it be up in english soon as well?
On the pre-ESO TES world, yeah. ESO added lore in the game regarding bears and dire wolves used as mounts (although I think I saw mention of bear mounts before ESO in the lore, but it could as well have been boar mounts). They are lore-accurate now, unless you don't consider ESO canon.
I don't know about the senche being used by non-Khajiit, though. I think the loremaster said something before about these senche not being the Senche-Tiger Khajiit furstock, but I don't know if that explanation made it to the game.

@Abeille There was a bear mount in one of the books (The Infernal City/Lord of Souls), so that isn't new, it's just a lot more widespread in ESO.
I ignore the Loremaster's 'they're not Khajiit' stance because they seem to flip-flop on that, the last I recall hearing they'd reverted it to 'only the Khajiit know if there's a difference and they're not telling', and more relevantly...dro-M'Athra. We've not heard anything about random bits of wildlife being able to be 'Bent' like the Khajiit so where did the sar-m'Athra come from if these mounts are non-Khajiit?
So my stance is that they are Khajiit, the bipedal ones just occasionally say otherwise because they like to mess with us shaveskins. Keeps the Altmer on their toes.
