My fav is a sword and shield/dual wield stam sorc in 5 orgnums scales and 4 hist bark all heavy. Hurricane, veil of blades, deep slashing to start and a rare steel tornado after everyone else dives in. Toss in a streak or two, a negate or a dawnbreaker if you've done that grind, and some dark exchanges for stam management and you can cause havok for a very long time.

MAGDK. I actually got whispered yesterday " get rekt you min/maxing tryhards". We were a group of 4 MagDK's. I thought MagDK's were in a bad place right now? No hard feelings though. I got my fair share of kills. Good times!

Saw that a couple of times yesterday. When you ask why in zone, you get intelligent answers like "Why not?". When you explain it kills pop, so no one to fight, they go quiet and keep right on. At least that was the case when they did it to EP early in the day. In that case the answer was " Better dead than red" which is no more intelligent but made me remember me long lost youth .

So the guys I group with finally took our ball and bat and went to do one of the new dungeons. That second to last boss in Mazzutun is miserable if you go in blind, not knowing the mechanic.

People say magDK's are in a bad place because they don't do well solo usually, but in group play they excel.

People say magDK's are in a bad place because they don't do well solo usually, but in group play they excel.

I agree. They do excel with experience and teamwork.

Campaign balance is really hard to achieve constantly when one or two factions are under populated. It appears that other campaigns are having similar problems with balancing.

just a visual

small scale:

1v1 = balanced
1v2 = semi-balanced
1v3 = Over powering to the average player

large scale:

20v20 = balanced
20v30 = semi-balanced
20v40 = Over powering to the average player

I don't think Zenimax can fix the problem by adjusting population depending on how many players are playing on under populated factions. At some point, the campaign will become unbalanced again.

Two possible solutions:
Lower Max Population on each faction, make it 3 bars will lock the faction, and create an overflow campaign so players can continue playing.
Give players on under populated factions a buff, so the average player could handle fighting 1v3.

Zenimax should not ignore this issue. I think they want players to enjoy the game no matter if it is PvE or PvP, from what I have read it sounds like many players are unhappy.

Telling people to L2P, showing screen shots how one faction did it 2 years ago, telling people to leave the campaign, or telling players they are wrong is not the solution to this problem. Providing sympathy and working together will make Blackwaters great again.

Adenoma has offered to TS with us, but I haven't taken him up on it yet; never seems the right time. Probably should, might learn how not to be a band of scrubs running from fire to fire.

yeah usually in pugz of daggerfall we just went with text .... rak did an AMAZING job leading through text chat and when ever we ran just guild groups everyone knew what had to be done ... but yeah... it def does make a difference using ts

Yeah, came home early with a head cold, was planning on getting a little crafting done.....

@Stridig Luckily my headset mutes when I raise the mic; the awkward thing...yeah been there. One my guys didn't realize Discord doesn't actually disconnect when you click "x" on the window. Then went 6 days without turning his comp off. Luckily it moves you to AFK and mutes you after some time automatically. Made for some interesting listening when you pulled him out of AFK channel to make sure he was still alive though.

Do you not get it? It not about EP or AD or DC.. it is about campaign balance.. it is more op than anything in PvP. Until every faction is poplocked this is going to be an issue. Do you think we should not talk about it. .and just pretend everything is fine?

Just recently we found out it isn't ADs poplock against our 2 DC bars. It is ADs poplock + EPs 2 bars against our 2 bars. Why would we not cry? Why would we not want ZOS to know there is a problem. You have new players coming in and say "F" this I am out of here. You have people that have been playing a long time and now are leaving because it is such BS.

BwB was set up to have some type of fair advantage, and that is why they created battle leveling. Now we have tremendous amount of players on one side or another. Recently almost daily AD is poplocked for hours .. it creates an unfair advantage.

And no i don't want the table to be flipped, I don't want DC to have a poplocked versus 2 bars. I want the problem fixed so we can then clean up our discussion and say stuff like "that was a great fight" or "ya you guys out played us last night" or "Great job .. bla bla bla"

Is it really that fun just rolling over keeps? I can't see how that is challenging or even fun. Don't get me wrong, I like huge fights, and I like small fights.. but not when it is unfair.

You must've missed my earlier comment, because I actually went into more depth with this (comment #193 in this thread, you should really go back and read it, because based on what you're saying I think we're in agreement about a lot of things here). But to summarize it, I agree that population imbalance is a very legitimate issue that needs to be discussed. Problem is, most of the people here "discussing" it are really just attacking AD players, which does absolutely nothing. Rather than trying to create a constructive discussion, people are just pointing fingers and acting as though individuals in this thread are solely responsible for population imbalance.
