HTF is more people choosing to play 1 faction over the other op? You can't decide who plays where. Not even ZOS can force people to play a specific faction. If they were going to fix something op, like they should have, it would be animation cancelation and macros. As well as gap closers, because we all know, DC loves to use the gap closers to exploit into keeps.

i can handle all those little things you mentioned, gap closers, animation canceling, and macros.

How it is OP? I can show you if you want. We can meet in BwB, and you stand on one side, my group stands on the other side. You jump up and down when you want to start and then we ( my 10 person group ) will jump up and down when we are ready.

We will kill you and walk away then come to the forum like AD does and tell you how we had skills and strategy.

If you can't see the problem then I don't know what to tell you.

What does any of that have to do with the population? Are you just randomly talking randomly? It seems like you just keep crying about the pop cause you keep losing.

Not you or anyone else can complain about the pop, under any pretense. Because as I said it earlier, neither you or zos can force people to chose a specific server, so with actual reasoning, 1 server will always have a higher pop then the other, this is a fact that you cannot change.

Also, there's a reason each side is limited to 200 each. If there aren't 200 people willing to play on your faction, that might say something about those who do.

Actually ZoS directly controls what goes on in their game and absolutely can do something about population imbalance. Just like battlegrounds place players on a team until the team is full and then leave other players in queue until enough players are in queue to form another team, ZoS should do the same thing with Cyrodiil.

This allows FAIR & FUN pvp game play. When the numbers are EVEN it comes down to which players are more competent, more strategic, work better as a team, etc. I know a lot of people fear fair numbers and use every excuse in the book to try to shut it down because they don't want to be exposed as weaker players, but in my opinion them players don't belong in a competitive pvp environment if they only wish to fight when greater numbers are the only determining factor in what decides pvp victories. They might say "I play for fun and I don't care who is better" and that is fine and all but everyone else also players for fun and it is not fun to have nothing you can possibly do matter if you are steam rolled by superior numbers every time you try to enjoy the game.

Players should not be able to enter a campaign where their faction already holds 1 bar higher population than the second highest populated faction.

That is an obvious solution that should already be in place.

If you want to pvp but your faction currently holds superior numbers then you can simply enter another campaign or actually help the problem by switching to a lower populated faction.

Allowing players to all flock to the easy and highest populated faction should never have been a thing in ESO.

If you think ZOS is gonna force people to play a specific faction, then you're not in touch with reality. Forcing players to play on a specific faction with have 2 effects. One: they will lose a player base, and two: when they lose that player base, they will lose revenue. Do you really think they're gonna lose money because of a few who think something is unfair, when in reality it's their fault they have a lower pop? If so, then you don't know how a business works. Because lets be real, who really wants to play on DC, with all the toxic chat that goes on in bwb?

A battlegrounds option would be nice; the wreck that is dungeon finder makes one worry about the execution thereof, though. Would still like to see a try at it made, it would be a good thing for everyone.

They wouldn't be forcing them to do anything, players would be free to make that choice themselves. What they would be doing is balancing Cyrodiil so that it's enjoyable for all and not just some.

It's more likely people will leave the game and ZoS would lose revenue due to not being able to enjoy pvp because ZoS refuses to balance population then players leaving the game because they have to play fair.

I wasn't being serious. Actually, I thought it strange that they are bringing dueling but it will be outside of cyro. Maybe thats so the people dueling don't get trolled I supose.

It's worth noting that update 12 also removes faction restrictions from PvE, so you can still duel people on opposing factions.

That is correct, players are free to chose which faction they play on, and it shows. We chose to play AD. And if zos made it so I couldn't, then I would just un-sub and not play the game at all. I would never play on DC/EP.

Which would help the population imbalance and in turn cause more people to play since they would have a chance to enjoy themselves without getting snuffed out by superior numbers.

Also, note, you would not have to switch factions. You could make that CHOICE, but you wouldn't have to. You'd just not be able to enter until the numbers are more balanced. You could also enter another campaign for your faction where the numbers are better balanced.

When I started playing this game I wanted to play on AD and did my first one and a half campaigns on AD, however, winning based on numbers alone was not for me so I moved to DC. Some people want to pvp for the sake of pvp, not to win a campaign before it even begins due to having the most people.

I spend most of my time in azuras since DC/EP there actually puts up a fight. And in all honesty, if it was the other way around, where DC had lock pop more often then not, and those on AD complained about it, you would try to shut them down. So regardless of the outcome, you will always have something to complain about. And on a side note, I wish AD had the lower pop, cause unlike you, i'd rather fight against the odds.

There is a difference between mutual understanding/indirectly working together towards a goal that is beneficial for both parties (what most would call common sense) and directly communicating with the enemy to form pacts and deals to trade keeps and scrolls.

Example: Earlier today AD was zerging the map to death and DC held Aleswell while EP help Chalman. AD tried to take Aleswell but was repeatedly repelled so they moved on to Chalman. I knew that EP losing Chalman would only hurt us in the end so my group rode out to Chalman and fought AD while avoiding all EP who didn't push into us. EP seemed to understand what was going on and also avoided us. We had a mutual understanding. Our presence was mutually beneficial to both factions. We didn't send each other messages coordinating attacks and trading keeps and scrolls.

90% of the time EP is out fighting DC while DC attempts to dethrone AD. I'm not sure if your guild is just extremely inactive or what, but the priorities you laid out only seem to apply when DC is emp.

Perhaps this is because AD often has higher population than EP and DC combined so you guys feel you have no chance against AD but see a good chance against DC, or perhaps it's due to the players who flip-flop between EP and AD so their allegiance is always to AD.

This is the way it is and has been since I started playing this game (in BWB that is).

Some people have been playing longer than you and have repeatedly said that alliance populations and the dominant alliance changes every couple of months.

I've been playing for quite a long time and AD has always had population advantage. Most of that time was spent in AD. Nothing has changed since i came back to the game and rolled DC. Nothing. I don't complain about it, just stating a truth as for some reason people simply to refuse to see truth. Again. Play how ya want. I'm gonna jump in the middle of your zerg and do my thing until I need to respawn. I don't shy away, I don't run into towers, I don't backpedal holding the S key light attacking with a bow. I'm in your face until I'm dead. I just wish all of you would stop trying to justify this population imbalance as ok and good for the game. It isn't. I wish you would stop saying that sending everyone person in your faction at one keep is skillful or tactical, it isn't. When you send 6 to flag Warden, 3 to flag Rayles, 12 to Glade, and then 24 to Aleswell, That is tactical, that has merit to be called a skillful move. AD doesn't do that anymore. You're just smashing 100 faces at one keep at a time.

We all know that EP has the lowest population. If you are this concerned about population imbalance, why don't you roll an EP toon? :)

Why don't you ask the AD friends you're making pacts with that? Taking from the mid pop and giving to the small pop doesn't fix it. Taking from the large pop and gives to the small pop makes everyone mid.

Then again would prolly be the same since EP is basically AD's 5th-6th bar.

The goal of my guild is to crown an EP emp and control those keeps. If another faction is emp, step 1 of that goal is to dethrone. We were a 20 man group attempting to dethrone the entire DC population. We could not so made a deal with AD to dethrone. Once the dethrone happened, we tried to push to get our scroll. Could not, so began on our main objective, emperor, and began pushing AD held keeps. We have would have done, and have done, the same thing if AD was emp. Repeatedly we have said in ts and zone chat not to attack dc when trying to dethrone AD. This should come as no suprise to anyone thadon'old emp, you will have 2 factions working against you.

We have been fighting AD for the past 4 hours and have not engaged dc at all today. That's because ad has emp. Remember, you only see a small portion of BwB and make large assumptions on everything else.

I don't make "assumptions", I make observations based on factual events and pasterns I have witnessed over the half a year I've spent in BWB. It was refreshing to log in and see EP doing what they should do for once, most of DC was shocked (in a good way) to see EP trying to dethrone and try to get their scrolls back.

    Great work.

Let me just finish this Zerg complaining fest once in for all. .......... https://youtu.be/9P5egjUf1iA

Official trailer, you see any 1v1 s or tactics ? Because I see zerging at farms and Kees and zerging across the bridge after 1 person and then having a stalemate at bridge . Yeah near the vid, that's a Zerg, in the official trailer for the game . Mmo game , why would they care about numbers , it literally has the word mass in it, as in a lot of people . No even pops , no
Duels, just straight throwing yourself on a Zerg until one side dies, same for bridge, same for Zerg vs player or Zerg vs zerg
