Doesn't matter when they knew about it. Doesn't matter if they released it broken. None of the whining matters if you get banned for behavior that you know could get you banned.
    Just don't do it.

    It's just that simple.

So if I accidentally gap close into a keep one time by misclicking, a permaban is ok?

Again, strawman extrapolation of what is happening.

You are not going to be permabanned for gap closing into a keep. They don't even know you do it, you have to be recorded and then submitted to ZOS before they even can act on it.

There is not one person here who I will legitimately believe 'accidentally' gets inside a keep by using broken code, then LEAVES or DIES will be banned.

    It just won't happen.

    No, what happens is this:

Click gap closer, accidentally get inside keep.

oooooh, well I'm here anyway, let me go ahead and set up siege, kill all the npcs, maybe farm some lowbies.

I mean, its ZOS fault I'm in here right, I didn't do anything wrong, so everything I do that is against the rules now is negated by the fact that the initial rule breaking was accidental.

I'm tired of the exploitative people saying they are getting banned for accidentally clicking a gap closer.

You aren't, and if you say you are, then you either are seriously delusional, or lying.

You claim nobody is getting permabanned for a misclick. If that's true, then there is no problem. I know of multiple people that have been permabanned lately. No reasons are given by ZoS. No appeals are allowed. Just permaban. I can't say for sure if they are innocent, but they have no idea what they did that resulted in a permaban. These things are happening whether you see them or not.

If I had to guess I'd say someone reported those multiple people accompanied by video evidence of behavior that ZOS thought warranted a ban. But if you're waiting for them to cop to the behavior and admit that they did something deserving of the punishment, you might want to take a chair.

All I know is these people are known to me as good honest people. If they did do some sort of exploit, they would have no issue admitting to it after a permaban through teamspeak. They quite honestly have no idea what they did for a permaban and ZoS will not tell them either. That's a scary thought. It can happen to anyone, anytime. No reasons given. No appeals. One day it could be any of us.

Who cares, its an online video game. You already know who they are so why do you care? People since forever have cheated. School exams, sports, games, children's party magicians, etc. I'd rather have them around so I can create stories.

    2. If you put on a new set of armor and you suddenly pull 100k+ DPS and you keep playing with that setup, the consequences of your actions is 100% on you.

Doesn't matter how that armor set got bugged. You're knowingly exploiting an in-game bug.

But it would be my set until they remove it from use, the game makers made it and have not fixed it, so if I had one I would use it to the fullest. If I got banned due to using it, I would find another game. Zos has the ability to temporarily stop the use of a gear set. Lines have been blurred when it comes to exploiting/cheating. IMO, animation canceled is an exploit that seems to okay with ZOS and others and was never actually intended, but allowed. I am assuming one of two things: it was allowed because to fix it would cause too many problems or they did not see it as a big deal. Sometimes a person lagging is difficult to kill because I cannot target them and I die. It is an unintended exploit and happens all the time. What is the difference. This is just a simple play on semantics and personal opinion.

It is opinion, and the only opinion that matters is the opinion of people that can ban you from the game. So far those people have made a short list of things they'll ban you for doing.

Sad thing is 2 of the exploiters that got banned sent bug reports in during PTS and live about salvation set. They were both sick of game breaking bugs getting to live even though ZOS knew about it. We knew about this long before the fourm post. ZOS fixed it fast enough to on live when people sent in screenshots of being one shot. It was not very hard to fix apparently. It's a sad state of affairs when people have to sucide bomb their accounts to get ZOS to fix the big exploits instead of trying to hide them. This is when the state of the game seems 3rd world.

Getting anything fixed for PvP in the game seems to take a blood sacrifice.
