Thank you. I love you for adding this to the game, ZOS. Absolutely perfect for my tank. No fancy effects, no weapon power, no dps stuff, just a huge amount of resistances. Been waiting for a monster set like this.

Now you just need to add some way to change item skins so I can get the perfect look too. *hint hint* :)

There is "fancy effect" of purple aura pulsing every ~6 seconds.

There is no proc . It passively grants you Major Resist buffs . It just frees up a slot on your bar . I don't know why ZOS thought it as a tank set . It is useless in any kinds of situation . Even Lord Warden gives more Resist than Mighty Chudan ^^

IMO, it's a bad set, and I would never use it on any of my tanks.

Every class has a way to get Major Resolve and Major Ward. These sources cannot stack with the set, so all that the 2p set bonus does is save you one bar slot and the trouble of casting a skill every now and then. That's extremely underwhelming for a monster set's 2p bonus.

And for serious endgame tanking, you want enough mitigation to stay alive, and then put everything else into group utility. This set does not fit that model because it's quite easy to get enough mitigation without wearing a set like this.

You could combine 1pc chudan/1pc warden to get some extra resist permanently....but yeah the 2pc-bonus is kinda disappointing. It's like having a a monsterset with 2pc-bonus 5% max magicka and the 10%-critbuff. Same buffs like Magelight but in the end it's even worse.

Might make for an OK pvp set as it frees up a skill slot for DKs and Templars. I can't see Sorcerers or NBs ever using it in any game mode, however.
    Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
    Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

Well, this is PTS ... so we can give ZOS the benefit of the doubt that they can still buff this set before it goes live ... can't we??

It would be cool if instead of passive major resists, it gave you a bonus effect when you receive one of the effects from another ability. Like gaining a damage shield or an extra percentage of damage resistance.
I love the Power Glove! It's so bad!
i also do art and stuff i guess, here's my twitter

Well, this is PTS ... so we can give ZOS the benefit of the doubt that they can still buff this set before it goes live ... can't we??

The Problem with this Set Is, People have Different sources for Major Armor/Spell Resistance already availaible:

    Examples:
    - Thundering Presence
    - Spiked Armor
    - Restoring Focus
    - Shadow Barrier(Passive)

These offer more Important Utility aswell, and using the Mighty Chudan set to free a Slot removes this Important Utility.

The only way to improve the Mighty Chudan Set Is by giving about 3000 additional Spellres/Armor on the 2pc Bonus, next to its Major Buffs.
People who dont Need/want aforementioned utility, will have the biggest Armor/Spell Benefit, while others who use the utility still receive atleast 3000 Spell/Armor Resistance

Minor Vitality or Minor Protection or both of them at the same time while you have Major Resist buffs active . There . Now it is useful .

Should add both minor vitality and minor protection on top of the resist effect. :p

Or.. Merge the 1 piece resistances with the 2 piece one and add minor vitality and minor protection as the 1 piece bonus.
