Exploiters getting worse - taking scroll from unflagged keep.

Most of the time I just ignore all the BS that goes on, but increasingly it's been well known, cp501 players popping out all the exploits. If you've played for this long how is it you have to resort to exploiting to win? Good players on other factions I use to respect for their skill are just demonstrating themselves as frauds.

This occurred at 12.39 PM GMT (about 30mins ago). Azura's Star NA PC

This player was not camped out in the keep when it flipped. BB had been AD for hours (days? a really long time) and they had been fighting elsewhere very recently.

I have seen this same person cap an outpost from the inside (with friends). They get up through the grate (ya'll know how), kill the npcs then ram the door from the inside (for whatever reason that flags start flipping when front door was at ~60%).

I apologise for being frustrated, the more you learn this game the more you start to see the exploits.

They really do believe nothing will happen to them and Zenimax doesn't care about PvP rules. Nothing anyone who wants to play by fair rules can do in that situation other than leave.

It's that or join them because you aren't going to beat them

The best thing to do is to report the player in game. Or PM someone at ZOS here with the character name. Let them investigate it and take the appropriate action they deem necessary. People that use skills outside their designed use can only blame themselves if they get banned.

None of this "Zenimax left it in there so I shouldn't be banned" for it crap. It's time people were held accountable for their actions.

There an even bigger problem with scrolls and multi faction accounts . Players can log in the toon of the faction wilth the scroll , pick it up and deliver it to their faction by letting them kill that toon . This was one of the reasons for not having same accounts with different faction access to campaigns . No shots fired and no keep jumping . It's a mess with those scrolls .

This has been happening in Haderus for a while. Reporting the (repeat) exploiters seems to do nothing.

Gap closers need to be fixed yesterday. And no, that doesn't let the players off the hook but ZOS shared culpability for letting this buggy crap go live.

Sure that unintentionally happens but it is NO excuse for exploiting. If it happens let a player or NPC kill you or jump off and leave. Play fair!

ESO is overloaded with griefers. People like this are attracted to environments with lax enforcement of rules.

They're mad because someone crit rushed a potato sitting on a wall and stole a scroll while they were busy PvDooring the whole map at 5 AM. Don't give me this TZ crap, because there are EU servers.

What they neglect to mention is that the AD emp was doing the same crap last week to kill defenders because their whole faction apparently forgot how to use siege. It's only "cheating" when a non-AD does it.

Edit: I'm not defending the scroll thief, it just seems to me that AD cries the hardest, plays the worst, but then uses the same damn exploit. It's ridiculous.

I wasn't there so I am only speculating but since the OP made it quite clear no one had taken that keep in quite sometime, so the chances a random player was sitting on the walls just when this particular player (who is in a tri-realm guild I might add) ran all the way down is incredibly unlikely.

What's more likely is he had one of his guild mates login their AD and stand on the walls for him or he could have used the mages over front gate. The player in question is a skilled templar and would have zero issues soloing the front gate guards.

I'm not saying that's what happened. As I said at the start, I wasn't there but I know this player and his ethics are extremely shady.

Sigh, there are 6 timezones in the US alone. Even if you ignore all the people that play on the NA server that aren't from the US, you still have a time difference in the US itself from east to west of 5 hours.

*Your* personal 5am means something completely different for a lot of people that still live in the same country as you.

Look, I don't want to derail my own post, but I've seen you make this accusation in multiple threads, with no one else corroborating your story. AD Emp uses Lotus Fan, that got fixed 1 week after DB launch, from what I've seen it's the only gap closer that cannot jump walls. Admittedly it will occasionally teleport you through a door, but this personally has not happened to me in like 3 weeks (they fixed it? I'm lagging less? I still use ambush when people are approaching doors if they have CC immunity, it's my only snare, but has not happened in a long time (ask Bitaken when it happened, think he has a video)).

Absolutely no one here is claiming cheating is only not okay when it's someone outside their faction, honestly that is a dumb thing to suggest. If people I trust (not you, sorry) give me names of AD players who are jumping keeps and such, I will absolutely have a chat to them in game, if they persist then I have no problem spreading their name around until gets a video or whatever.

And yeah, your whole time zone PvDoor claims are ridiculous, DC and EP were both putting up amazing fights all night (my time). When I was online, we pushed DC to ONE gate to get a scroll, DC then retook the keep within the hour (Emp told people not to repair the walls). Everyone else has already addressed your silly rants about time zones (you know the world is bigger than NA and Europe right? You are going to lose your mind when the Japanese players rank out of the non-vet server).

Again, no one is saying cheating is only bad if outside your faction, the fact that you are the only person suggesting that is kind of interesting...

Stop denying it already. Your AD friends go into Elden at 3am herding in three bars of pugs when the other two factions are at one. Your idea of 'well defended' during your faction's usual night capping escapades is ten to one odds against. We do the same thing, let's just be honest about it. The accusation stings worst when it rings somewhat true.

I can't count how many yellows scale unbroken walls or port through doors. There are usually more of you than everyone else. I spent one night setting death traps at Nickel and luring you guys up into 3 sets of mines and a couple of sorcs with overload. It happens often enough. My point stands, your faction is the first to take offense and cry on the forums.

I even had a good laugh when one of you AD tossed our scroll into the middle of slaughterfish waters, so we couldn't get it back in time - and then we would have to take your home keep to get it back. I didn't create an OMG! HAX thread. I'm pretty sure I gave kudos.
