Quite frustrating indeed when you are forced to Alt-F4, then log back in to find yourself back in queue.

✭so what's this stuff about "send me a whisper" to get out of a load screen? Does this actually work?
If so, I have a workaround for ZOS:
start an increment timer 10 seconds at the beginning of any load screen, if still loading at 11 seconds generate "whisper" to user.0 -

yesterday with a dk , in 40 minutes:
30 critical charge -> 15 loading screen ( Obviously dead )
30 take flight -> 25 loading screen ( Obviously dead )
I have noticed, however, that some areas are more subject to loading screen...but it is possible to be just my problems..

If you want to group and not be stuck in a load screen. make sure everyone in your group is visible to you. If you have one person invisible make them run out of render range. The best part is, tons of tickets have been submitted. Yet no admin even speaks up to tell you a little workaround like I just did.

Scrub_Potato✭✭My personal favorite, is when someone calls out an outpost is under attack, you port in, ready to get some AP and whatnot, except you hit the load screen of doom, as is everyone who is porting in, and the outpost gets taken by a zerg because half the reinforcements are just whistling at the port, in load screens xD"I am a scrub, and a potato. Like, some kind of Scrubtato!"

✭✭✭✭I played on Trueflame this week end, and all factions were pop locked for most of the duration. There were huge zergs of all colors, especially blue. But the lag and loading screens were nothing compared to what I remembered from last year, one minute at most. The ping was generally good, with typical values 100-150, and short spikes of 400+ when transitioning in a very populated area, but back in the day was 3-400 all the time, with long periods of 999+ and "gap close into loading screen and falling trough the ground" bug every few minutes. When I cast skills they took a full 2 seconds to fire from the moment I pushed the button. The game was barely playable and as a result I tended to avoid PvP for quite some time. Overall the performance has definitely improved compared to my previous PvP experience and I think I will PvP more from now on. Saying that nothing has improved in 2 years is plainly wrong.Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break
