Mist form not giving snare immunity properly in some scenarios

  • Mist form doesn't give snare immunity against some snares from mobs.
  • If you cast Mist form while a slowing projectile is already flying at you or a melee slowing ability is already swinging at you, it will still slow you once you get into Mist form.
  • Some attacks will still apply snares while you are in mist form.
  • Also, sometimes the snare animation will stay on your feets even though the snare got removed.
  • Gap closer mini-snare applies if you're in mist form (snare time increase with the current latency up to 1-2 seconds).
  • Sometimes, Mist form won't remove the roots affecting you.
  • Poisons that immobilize your target will apply root through mist form.

  • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
  • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
  • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
  • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
  • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
  • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
  • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
  • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
  • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
  • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
  • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
  • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
  • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
  • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
  • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
  • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
  • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
  • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
  • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
  • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
  • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
  • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration
  • Fix speed bug (abilities locked)
  • Introduce dynamic population
  • Lower population cap by 20%
  • Add Snare Immunity potions
  • Bring resurrection sickness
  • Fix character desync

    Well unless magicka builds can get a magicka version of shuffle it's all we got.

    Same. Although we really just need that stupid gap closer root to be removed.

    So does dropping down a ledge far enough that your character goes into a roll dodge. Doesn't make much sense.

    Mistform is still not mitigating Jesus beam at all, gapclosers are still makeing you slow as a snail and changeing mistform in 1.7 was the most stupid thing they ever did.

    Gap closer snare is a different type of snare than normal ones. There is nothing in the game that can prevent gap closer snares.

    Mistform should not be affected by the gap closer snare (which is a stupid concept to begin with but that's another topic).
    Mistform is meant as a repositioning tool and should therefore work as such. Nothing should be able to snare it. The cost to use the skill is already one of the highest in game. It should grant the immunity to all snares without exception.

    I've also seen issues with this. Jesus beam definitely. Sorc's execute is often the killing blow while I'm in mist form, when it's usually not the case (at least no more than other abilities).

    On a side note, better tag @ZOS_JessicaFolsom about this than Wrobel :p

    When you face roots, sorc's Mines for example, you also get short snare.

    I think it does midigate jesus beam, but it hits so hard so fast it really doesnt matter.

    I'm afraid ZoS believes it is, however, working as intended. They intend, for reasons unknown, that gap-closers inflict an automatic and unpurgable snare on the target.

    And because of these off intentions they have that are contrary to a significant desires of the PvP community (e.g. AoE caps, removal of impen, Cyrodiil map reform, etc.), I intend on finding another game that is more mindful of the wishes of those who actually play it.

    Impen was completely removed from all PvE loot tables.

    The gap closer spam was always stupid, moreso with snares that go through mist form. The skill itself does seem to be broken though. I dont buy that the mitigation is 75%, and i tried using mist last night to get through caltrops and bombard but moved as if i was regularly walking while snared. Im shifting to the phase where im just grumpy and constantly say the game is pure crap.

    Still a problem. Not only snared by gap closers but some other ability took me out of/kept me from returning to mist form. :D
