So... the actual DLC is just 2 dungeons?

As much as I'm looking forward to playing with new appearances, am I the only one thinking that 2 dungeons seems a little thin for a DLC?
Well, normal and veteran versions of 2 dungeons. For a small DLC (like the size of the TG and DB ones) I'd consider that adequate if they're well done, and the vet versions are continuations of the normal versions (like most vet dungeons) rather than just tuned-up versions of the exact same dungeon (like the Imperial City ones).

I'm sure the vet versions will just be the normal versions cranked up a notch like IC, that's pretty much been their MO since vCoA. If they were going to do the continuation thing I think we would be getting vet Arx Corinium.
    You're probably right. But I hope you're wrong :)

Actually, I'll be surprised if you're not right. But I'm still hoping you're wrong...

They have said several times they have no intention of making costumes dyable because they don't follow the same three-color palette that our craftable gear does.
    Um...
We'll be discussing some of Update 11's additional features at a later date, including new motifs, new item sets, improved facial effects, the ability to dye costumes, and as always, many changes and improvements to existing content.
    Dyable costumes are coming.

The keyword there is "discussing". I watched an ESO Live video in the past where they said it cannot be done as the system in place for for dye'n armor is different than the costumes that are made/being made.

It should be left how it is, It works fine and if they start adjusting things it will most likely break and take 2 months for a "quick fix" lol

Um, no that's not the key word. That's telling you that they'll tell us more about it later. The key words are "Update 11's additional features". That's telling you flat-out that the features mentioned are coming with update 11.

This was my take on it too... so perhaps they're planning to add NEW costumes that can be dyed but older costumes won't be able to... or they're going to go back and revamp existing costumes to match how our game armor palette works.

I have a guess based on the recently datamined Dye Packs.

I think "Dye Packs" will be exclusive for Costumes and will change the entire costume to pre-defined color schemes. Say, a "Blue Dye Pack" could change the Breton Medium dress (the off-the-shoulders one) to blue, like the Khajiit who works for Percius Loche is wearing in his shop. I don't think we will have the same system that we have for armor.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Ooh! Not what I thought but still sounds good. It says "ability to dye costumes" rather than imply only new costumes are dyeable, so that would fit it nicely

That wouldn't make any sense. If that was the case then they wouldn't have said that one of the update's features was going to be "the ability to dye costumes". Instead they would have said that one of the update's features was "new dyeable costumes".

Hopefully... because there are several costumes I have but never wear because the color just doesn't work with how I envision the costume to look for the character.

    Looks like it!

I'm happy that the trials will be finally updated. AA is my favorite trial but nobody wants to do it right now.

It seems a good update overall, if small. My only complaint is that they do not mention new hair colors on any part of it, so I assume that my Altmer still won't be able to have her black hair color.

and so was the ESO Live video with the Developers. If anything they'll probably sell you dye's for your costumes. Like a said the system in place currently doesn't support them.

Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Yeah, I'm not going to steal my own *** off for Contraband Violet not to be able to use it on a costume of my choice.
But seeing as I have IC, Orsinium, and TG and have finished none of them yet, ZOS may be looking at completion rates before adding large chunks of content. I mean, what's the point in making a sequel if only a few people finished watching the first movie?

    Meanwhile...

I truly hope that they fix the horrible bugged lagged mess still untouched and unfixed after DB, before they introduce another update. But history tells us that they wont.

So will vamps go back to having markings visible? Not sure why the TG or slightly earlier patch removed it in the first place (as well as all kajhit coat markings).

adding more *** in cyrodil would just increase the lag.. i've never seen anyone asking bout this sort.. although i saw massives threads regarding dueling, and battlegrounds ;)

I've seen people asking for towns and other things in Cyrodiil to be capturable and have an effect on the war there. Not as many as I've seen asking for dueling, but more than just a couple of people for sure.
