So the barber shop is all gonna be crown store based?

It is hard to tell. They specifically say the hair styles come from the crown store. But for the others mention tokens being purchased. So maybe the others will have an ingame purchase method as well?

Or maybe someone knows more out there? Anyone?

oh damn, I hope there will be two "packages" in the Barbershop:
    1. race change, basic appearance changes - in-game gold
    2. extra special haircuts and special body markings - crown store

I don't think there should be account wide achievements but I agree on faction and class change.

Won't do any good. Zenimax stated back when they first announced this barber shop that class change is never gonna happen. Also faction change is iffy at best and not happening at least what with One Tamriel coming and pther complications it may cause. As for account-wide achievements... No. Just no. Earn your titles with THAT character.

So will vamps go back to having markings visible? Not sure why the TG or slightly earlier patch removed it in the first place (as well as all kajhit coat markings).

Markings? Color me confused, because my (beautiful) vampire huntress certainly still has that pale, veiny look when she's in stages 3 and 4, especially.

They are talking about body markings, make up and the like that you give your character on the character creation, which are covered by the "vampire skin overlay" and get almost completely invisible.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I think they meant like, stripes, spots, tattoos, that kind of thing. My Altmer has his gnarly scar still, but I think anything pigmented gets faded out like whoa.

Ah, I see. 'Tis true that the "markings" get washed out, but I can still see my toon's gorgeous dragon tattoo even at stage 4. But, yes, it's more visible even at stages 1 and 2.

EXAMPLES FOR BASE GAME PATCH FEATURES & CONTENT

    Appearance, Race, and Name Change

Are you tired of your current look? Do you feel disconnected with your racial features or your gender? Do you wish your parents had chosen a better name? With Update 11 you can purchase tokens that will allow you to completely redefine your appearance, pick a different name, or choose an entirely different race!

Tokens to "allow you to completely redefine your appearance.."? This is going to be bad. Experience with other token-based, all-or-nothing systems tells us that these will either be prohibitively expensive via in-game funds, or bear a disproportionate cost in real-world money through the crown store. So if you're the type who likes to make frequent small tweaks to your characters' appearance (maybe a different hair style now and then, changing the facial markings for certain events, etc.), be prepared to pay the full cost as if you were completely redesigning your character each time.

A graduated cost based on the quantity and degree of changes would be a much better approach to this, as players would use this feature more frequently. With a "token" system, players are likely to avoid changing character appearance except for those occasions for which they can justify the cost. This means that many players may just avoid making such changes altogether.

If anything will be chargeable it will be race change. Just think of the income. Make red guards fotm in one patch then dunmer in the next, constant stream of revenue from power gamers.

Race change was never going to be free, it has too much of an impact. It will be expensive too.

adding more *** in cyrodil would just increase the lag.. i've never seen anyone asking bout this sort.. although i saw massives threads regarding dueling, and battlegrounds ;)
I've seen people asking for towns and other things in Cyrodiil to be capturable and have an effect on the war there. Not as many as I've seen asking for dueling, but more than just a couple of people for sure.

Yeah, we have been asking for capturable towns and cities in Cyro. But we didn't really mean we just wanted them to slap a flag in three pre-existing cities and call it a day. This DLC is so lacking in every way. Literally the only thing this really adds to the game is a barbershop, which should be accomodate in-game currency but of course is just crowns. I sure won't be purchasing anything

I'm not making any assumptions about how the cosmetic tokens will be purchased, but I was keeping in mind that there's multiple forms of currency that might be used. AP farmers might be able to sell them for instance. I doubt TV stones would be considered, but maybe through the new vendors? Of course in game gold and Crowns are likely as well.

    Cyrodiil Town Capture

You've been requesting this, and we've been listening! Beginning with Update 11, Cyrodiil will feature the capturable towns of Cropsford, Vlastarus and Bruma! Each town contains three flags to capture and control, one with no guards, one with a few guards, and one that is heavily guarded, in a fashion similar to district flags in the Imperial City. Capturing a town grants an Alliance another place to respawn from PVP deaths and access to town merchants selling purple-quality gear for Alliance Points. Experience this new style of PVP gameplay and win honor and glory for your Alliance!

We also wanted lag-free gameplay on cyrodiil above all. Is that even coming?

    Last part, @Ritzey01

"We'll be discussing some of Update 11's additional features at a later date, including new motifs, new item sets, improved facial effects, the ability to dye costumes, and as always, many changes and improvements to existing content. Watch for additional information on our website and social channels, and get ready to join us on the test server (PTS) soon!"

The keyword there is "discussing". I watched an ESO Live video in the past where they said it cannot be done as the system in place for for dye'n armor is different than the costumes that are made/being made.

It should be left how it is, It works fine and if they start adjusting things it will most likely break and take 2 months for a "quick fix" lol

I have a guess based on the recently datamined Dye Packs.

I think "Dye Packs" will be exclusive for Costumes and will change the entire costume to pre-defined color schemes. Say, a "Blue Dye Pack" could change the Breton Medium dress (the off-the-shoulders one) to blue, like the Khajiit who works for Percius Loche is wearing in his shop. I don't think we will have the same system that we have for armor.

    I think so, too.

If they let us change costumes in at Dye Stations, they cannot charge us Crowns. ZOS is very focused on Crowns. I think they must hand out rewards to the employees for idea submissions.
