I have no idea how the Bookshelves in IC behave :

• When Glorious Upheaval was found in Shor PC EU, I went to see later in the evening and it wasn't there (I didn't need it, so no worries) and last I've check was less than 24h ago and it wasn't that either : it was a third one.
• When The Year 2920, Vol. 27 was found on Vivec PC EU, it seemed to stay up for about 24h.
• And when the bookshelf containing The Year 2920, Vol. 27 on Vivec PC EU changed, it contained The Horror of Castle Xyr : Part 1. I checked every single day and as of last night, the bookshelf is still stuck on this book (even after a server reset for the update).

In advance I'm sorry, but I will not roam around in IC anymore for a while, so I will not be able to locate books people might be missing. The reason is simple : got tired of it after doing it for about 3 weeks, twice (sometimes 3x) a day and I don't particularly need to do it anymore.

On another note, Crafting Motif 47 :Buoyant Armiger is currently in the crown store for 5k crowns. If you're like me : still need the motif and got some crowns or some real moneyz to throw on it and don't have near enough gold to buy the full collection nor the time to farm a few thousands of chests in Vvardenfell, you might want to consider the offer.



Today ended way better for me than it started thanks to these 2 little things ! \o/

I can't seem to find Novice Oscard's Notes in the CWC bank, nor can I find locate The Truth in Sequence: Volume 12 (I assume this is also randomly found on bookshelves).

You'll only find Novice Oscar's Notes in the Shadow Cleft when on that particular daily quest. You just have to start a new quest every day until you get that specific one. And yes, The Truth in Sequence Volume 12 is just random in CWC. Sorry .

Will-do! The support team sent me a link to esohead's signed version of the lorebook after reopening my ticket - I'm thinking this might be one that most people grab on accident, but those of us that didn't have no way to get it currently. I know my main was a wee level 45 and I had no idea how the game worked yet when I first did the quest.

It would be greatly appreciated if ZOS could confirm whether it is extraordinarily well hidden or missing! I am all for a continent-wide book hunt insofar as I know it's not a fool's errand.

Thank you everyone for all of your help in this thread - it has been quite an adventure completing the lore collection on console without mod support, and the posts here have been invaluable!

How Long? and Here to Stay are in the very last room of City of Ash II. After Valkyn is defeated, you enter the room with the sigil stone. They are on the left side of the room on or near a table.

Well... I'm glad to be done with Eidetic Memories (for now...), but now I get this icon popping up in the middle of my screen everytime I go out of a loading screen, along with the sound effects and all, just like an achievement... XD


With Anniversary Event coming soon, I was thinking, maybe we could add each other, to trade duplicates pages of the Worm Cult Motif in order to complete it faster. If anyone on PC EU want to add me : @timbouton

I got behind enemy lines today and grabbed the missing lorebooks (plus my final skyshard) out in the open there. I still have a few books at enemy base camps though - do you guys just ignore them or are they available via random bookshelves?

I am wondering this myself. I'm pretty much down to only the two letters to the opposing warlords in Cyrodiil since they are behind the camps and the doors to them are never unlocked. I've tried several times, but can never get entry into the main base camps.

"A Moment of Your Time" and all of the other notes related to that quest I believe, are laying next to the wayshrine that's just south of where the quest took place. Unless that's changed in the last two years, they should be there.

@Blue_Radium , the Hlaalu Merchant + Tome of the Undaunted (unsigned) are bugged atm. A few of us are waiting on a way to get hold of them.

The Zimmeron ones should be at the gates of their respective alliance camps. If you look up the lorebooks online you will have a good idea of where to look for them. I am hunting some of them myself and if/when I find them I will confirm.

This is my current list of lorebooks that are 100% unachievable/unreadable:

* Note from Khezuli's Contact - This book is part of the quest "A Little on the Side". However, it is possible to finish the quest without ever reading it, e.g. when questing with someone else. Once the quest is over and the city is saved, it is impossible to re-enter it. Being in party with someone else who has the quest does not solve the problem as entering the city sends you to a different instance. Quest cannot be shared.

* Secret Note, Soggy Note (from Gold Coast Tomes, not the same that can be found on a ship), Up High Note - These books are part of the quest "The Sweetroll Killer". It is possible to finish the quest without ever reading it, e.g. when questing with someone else who reads these books instead. After the quest is done, the books disappear. Being in party with someone who has the quest does not make them reappear. Quest cannot be shared.

* Worship in Fanacas - This book used to be on a pedestal in front of the Enchantress Mabrel Pierel, a mini-boss in Cyrodiil. However, after a certain update (1 - 2 years ago), the book disappeared. Since then, it does not exist in game anymore.
