I think the appearance should alter by stage, but at stage one, you should look normal. At stage 4, people should notice your appearance and act differently around you, perhaps even go as far as having guards attack.

Then the stages would have to last longer. They are way too short for this to work.

Thanks @bhlegit! We're tracking this bug with another costume, so we'll add this costume to the list. (Also, the request to toggle the vampire skin visual effect is noted. :))

Toggle request noted is the best news for me in a long time . That would be so great if it finally happened .

This post was from last year :(

@ZOS_GinaBruno do we have an update on this? It's been almost a year now since the last response.

Not being able to suppress vampirism stage 4 is just bad design. I didn't meticulously craft my characters appearance just to have all that circumvented by a desiable skill line decision.

Disguises are currently our only way around looking like every other vampire in the game. If you take it away on the promise of a new vamipirism suppression that's probably going to take 6-12 months to implement .. So help me God....

Or is it going to be like all the armors and costumes that distort the female body and have never been fixed despite us being told this was unintended and would be addressed? But honestly, I'm still with those who don't want this particular "bug" fixed if you're not going to also give us a vamp-skin toggle. Seriously, we've LITERALLY been asking for something like this since launch. And apparently it's pretty easy to do if you can do it by accident!

OP is proof that some players can damage the game as much as the devs.

Please do. I’d be very happy with a toggle.

There’s no point to being a hideous bloodsucking monster if the NPCs won’t even react to it when they “see” it. I’d rather just look normal if I can’t even get the appropriate reaction out of them.

You WANT that fugly vampire skin to show?

The only reason I wear disguises 24/7 is to hide my ugly vampire skin on the few magicka characters that run it.
With strength and intelligence comes hard work.

Which is why not a lot of people are strong nor intelligent.

as in title. When i put on the 'crown dishdasha' costume my skin goes from vampiric white back to dark elf grey. If i take off the costume to my normal armor, vamp skin is back again. PLease fix this visual bug!

Frankly I think the OP doesn't know the meaning of the word "Disguise".

    Which costumes???

Costumes purchased from the Crown Store do NOT remove the vampire appearance. However, it seems that ANY disguise acquired during questing will do so.

Once again, I'll take this opportunity to beg for the ability to be able to TOGGLE the vampire skin, turning it on and off at will. Failing that, I'd gladly buy this ability on the Crown Store.

Most of the appearance of being a vampire has a toggle, at least it used to when the game launched. Just turned one of my previous vamps back and Seles to still be the case.

Beyond that there should not be a hard toggle and crown costumes should not hide the appearance. It's a choice to be a vamp which includes the awesome appearance.

Vampirism is a set of four cosmetic skins. This is effectively identical to the Soul Shriven visual effect. And now the skin collectibles.

It was never a toggle, or at least not a mechanic players could manually adjust (beyond moving between different stages).

Feeding it controlled it allowing player control of appearance. I say toggle you do call it something else. In the end what we call it is irrelevant since one can control the appearance easily.

At stage 1 it's hardly noticeable. Rosy cheeks and light red tint to be eyes.

You're wrong. This is Morna as she appears as a mortal with the vampirism dropped:

This is Morna at Stage 1 vampirism:

At the very LEAST I want my green eyes back!

I do so love the glowly eyes effect back in Skyrim ;D I wish the vampires had the skyrim's glowly eyes in ESO.

I'd love to see that as a skin you could purchase in the Crown Store!

Costume or crafting ... I would like to have this to purchase at the crown store:
