Vampire skin doesnt display when wearing disguise - visual bug

as in title. When i put on the 'crown dishdasha' costume my skin goes from vampiric white back to dark elf grey. If i take off the costume to my normal armor, vamp skin is back again. PLease fix this visual bug!

Okay, wow, this is actually really cool. I forgot what my wood elf's face looked like before she was a vampire.

At this point, I really wish ZOS would give us a way to suppress stage one.

Is there a current list of costumes you have that are bugged? I tried every costume I had on my vampire yesterday and all triggered the effect. Unfortunately I'm not at my computer, but off the top of my head I can list:

The vampire skin in this game is Butt F-in ugly. It was ugly in Skyrim it's worse here. Mods took care of the issue in skyrim, a toggle would be nice for here, or perhaps a tasteful vamp skin that make your skin a bit more pale, lips a bit more red and some fangs. No scrunched serated looking pig nose okies?? KTHNXBAI!!

Oh dear Divines and Daedra PLEASE DO THIS!!!! I have been, along with many others, BEGGING you for a way to return vampires to their mortal appearance since launch!!!! A toggle for the vampire skin would be a dream come true!

My vampire wears the Courier Uniform disguise and that also removes the vamp appearance. However, I am rather enjoying it since I found the stage 4 appearance rather severe (pale is understandable but the bright red veins around the eyes just looked odd to me). I wish that vampires could all have the same pale appearance as stage 1.

Of course we can expect fast action on something that I would love to NOT get fixed haha. I really wish we could do something about vamp appearance. Vampires and Zombies are not the same thing, but that's what vamps look like in this game.

I think the appearance should alter by stage, but at stage one, you should look normal. At stage 4, people should notice your appearance and act differently around you, perhaps even go as far as having guards attack.

This! so much this! I especially like the idea of a Stage 4 vamp or even stage 3 and 4. When it's obvious you are a vampire, having the guards turn hostile to you.

That would work too. I always try my best to wear a hood or mask when playing a Vamp. I hate the way it looks.

Out of all the glitches, that is not a good one to report! LOL but there are other ways to view your Vamp as normal right now.


However, it should be able to be toggled. Don't give me that lore crap... if you can have soul shriven skin and dro'mathra skin, you should be able to find a way to allow vamp characters to toggle their normal look regardless of stage.

I made a post this morning about this and not one response... and I was hoping it was a new feature and not a bug. Been having fun with a vamp alt, and would like to turn my main, but there's no way in hell I'm turning my black khajiit an odd shade of grey. So, booo! that's it's not a new feature

I realllllly hate how washed out her makeup became! Why did you do that ZOS? And PLEASE give back her marvelous GREEN eyes! I miss them so! In a perfect world Stage I would have the pale skin Stage 1 currently has BUT would leave the original makeup (NOT washing it out!) and her ORIGINAL eye color!

Seriously, please consider THAT as a Crown Store Skin if nothing else!!! But yes, I still would really LOVE a toggle for the vamp skin so that our vampires CAN look mortal once more! Oh how I miss this look!

I will support this, but only because my beloved Morna wants it.
Now that the stage timers are (finally!!) set to a full game day, I don't mind having my vampire skin/eyes.

If a toggle skin is introduced, please make it auto deselect and not selectable from Stage 2 on!

Seems like once more dev team time will be diverted to "fix" something that players enjoy and that are absolutly harmless. I noticed that a while ago but I really thought, since it was disguises and not costumes that were affected, that it would be part of the disguise.
Disguises are suppose to make you look like something you are not, if NPC could spot you were a vampire in your Crow Dishaba, would they let you in? It made perfect sense to me that disguises would hide your vampire appearance.
Can you, instead of calling it a bug, simply state that it is working as intended and save work time on something really important, like run base speed fix, please?

jess heres another bug it looks like bound armour broke after dark brotherhood it doesn't show the armour anymore,also it looks like our trophy item effects only work with some of our made characters.

Nope, the disappearance of the Bound Armor is intended. Instead of just making it a toggle as was requested they just took it away, making a whole new set of people angry. They did the same thing to Mage Light and its morphs. Almost no one liked the insanely bright disco ball that orbited around you. But the glowing eyes and the glowing smoke effect around your hands? THAT I and many others loved. And they just took it away instead of giving us a choice.

This is the one bug I hope they never fix BTW! But it also makes me wish there were nicer looking disguises as well!

No! Don't change it! The only reason I am still a vampire is because I can hide it with these disguises. I will be forced to cure my vampirism if costumes no longer hide how ugly my character looks with it...

See @ZOS_JessicaFolsom ??? It reallllly needs to be a toggle! I don't wan t to have to wear an ugly disguise to have my green eyes again!
