Something needs to be done about this unlike other exploiters in the past. You can't just adjust abilities and say... "well we fixed the issue" NO... take action against players doing this and ban them. PvP is already circling the drain... don't destroy it by not taking action. It would be sad if other legit guilds left because you didn't step up.

Because the multimilion company hiring experienced in MMO devs didn't expect people to cheat. Then they panicked and simply moved a big part of calculations to server which totally ravaged performance of client.

My guess is that they are desperately trying to improve performance and moved some parts of calculations back to client. Im all in for that but... perhaps put in some decent anti cheat software?

If you want to prove a point, then grab a friend and go out into some remote part of Cyrodiil and record a video explaining how your doing it. Then send said video to Zenimax; abusing it like this in a real battle is unacceptable.

5pc: Reduce damage from incoming Meteors by 90%

I am sorry I just couldn´t resist copying your answer from another thread. If I put this answer in the context of what has been happening lately, I just find this extremely funny. As a guild I haven´t seen your guildies doing this but this one player. I even watched Fengrush stream where he (Z*****) has been talking about this. Seems like he is up to some mission but although a noble goal his means are just very wrong. Alas don´t get me wrong I don´t like cheats and I know you don´t either.

This isn't the old meteor shower bug. This is the result of using an external program called "Cheat Engine" to freeze/set your stats in the system program memory.

It's only possible because ZO$ has zero client side memory validation and accepts all data sent by the client as "True and correct".

Then I would say ZOS and other MMO's need to file a lawsuit against the author of such software, It's causing harm to the game and could directly influence their future profits. But it's also ZOS's responsibility to make sure they safeguard their software, which apprently is not happening very well. And it's our responsibility to play the game as it was meant to be played. Why does so many people feel the need to cheat to get gud?

Yes I know, and I am extremely disappointed in what he is doing right now. Angry is a better word for it. As far as I am aware, no one else in DR is up to anything shady, and since the one identified is likely to be banned from game, that will be the end of it.

But if I catch anyone else in DR doing it, they are out, period. I have zero tolerance for cheating. Just play it fricken straight.

Good question, I also wonder just how deep this rabbit hole really goes, how far back it goes, if me and mine may very well be the only upper tier players NOT using this cheat program in some fashion.

Ive always suspected some people of having an unfair advantage out there, I can usually tell a good build or something that should win a fight, or a good strat. But there have been instances were things happen that made not a lick of sense, and resulted in an outcome that really should not have happened.

Personally, I have always played legitimate. Even in single player games where you can get a game genie or a code to plug in to unlock weapons and stuff, it ruins games for me. The fallout from this might be enormous. There have always been those special players that seemed a whole tier higher than anyone else. Makes you wonder eh? From a peer review standpoint.

Casting shade on every remaining guild in the dwindling pvp population and trying to insinuate you may be the only righteous guild is /facepalm worthy. If I start seeing this when I'm actually fighting groups then it will be appropriate to play that game, but until then, you lost, get over it. It's far more likely that you just got beat, not that your opponents exploited. I'm not going to give your comment any more attention than it deserves.
