I can finish normal mode flawlessly but can't beat the 1st boss on vet mode (probably from a lack of effort)

I've been there with couple of characters, it went well enough, but after a few deaths, I went elsewhere. I mostly play to relax, and don't want to sink time in this. Just not my favourite content.

But I'm glad it's there, I might feel like going back someday.

Decided that I would go there to learn the mechanics for vet. After 5 minutes in Vet arena I realised I had wasted my time in the normal mode as it is no preparation for the vet arena

I'm so close, maybe I should watch a video to get some ideas on beating it but I'd prefer to beat it on my own before taking pointers for a Flawless run.

I've beaten nMA on my main with no armor and no jewelry (just her weapon). Naked nMA is still much easier than vMA.

During Cake Week, I leveled two characters from pre-vet all the way up to VR16 almost entirely through nMA. And I'm now sitting on a small mountain of Auric Tusks and Potash from all the nMA decons. (At VR with Cake and Ambrosia, it was around 500K every 40 minutes. It's usually not the fastest way to grind, but it's the most convenient way, because it's accessible at all levels and it's your own private instance. During Cake Week, all the good grind spots were being contested, so nMA grinding was probably one of the fastest ways to go.)

I finished it with my main dps and tank. It was pretty easy once I learnt some of the mechanics.

Did it once just to see what it's like. Only attempted into vet three times. Honestly not sure if the single content is for me, I know I have to beat it for the weapons eventually.
