Yeah I was on for like 20mins during that time to see AD pop locked while DC had 1 bar; it was pretty boring. I hear ya though, right after we dethroned AD @ Roe, EP had Alessia, Faregyl, Blackboot, and was through the gate attacking AD's scroll. Everyone says "Where do we hit next?" etc and some zone chat genius's say to hit EP at Faregyl. I ofc advised them not to touch EP until we take our home scroll back from AD @ Bloodmayne. I told them if they attack Faregyl it will cut EP off at Blackboot/ AD's gate where they had one scroll and were going for another (ofc EP didn't realize they can't take AD's scroll until they place theirs but that's another story). I further explained that this would cause EP to lose their home scroll and allow AD (who was still pop locked) to kill the EP at gate, retake Bloodmayne, then Faregyl and so on. Additionally, it would cause EP to attack us at Roe where we had one of their scrolls, and ultimately prevent us from getting our scroll from Bloodmayne while also allowing AD to take the map again with superior numbers while we are fragmented fighting both factions.Brazilionaire wrote: »Kind of funny seeing AD lose 4 keeps to EP and pushed back to Bloodmayne and Roe only, just cause one of the clicky AD guild members are emp. Edit: And he just got dethroned anyway. Lol.
That is nothing... that actually makes sense given the circumstances.
Today was completely messed up. In the afternoon our zerg completely wiped DC off the map (DC 1 bar, AD 3 bars - nothing to be proud or ashamed of). Then, we take both scrolls and some dude drops it in the lava (not sure how this happened).
I spent a good 20 mins with a couple of other people fishing the scroll out the lava while improving my parkour skills - which was done by one guy logging out so another guy above can pick it up - rinse and repeat. When we finally get the freaking thing out, a troll runs with it and intentionally drops it into the lava.
Does anyone know who did this? ^
Then instead of pushing for emp (two EP keeps left to go at that point), people had a good number sieges up at Warden and were defending tri-keeps.
Later on, we lost BRK because EVERYONE was at freaking Bleakers. I was LITERALLY the only player defending BRK against a dozen EPs and asking for help on chat.
I mean, zergs will be zergs and do whatever they want. Just expected more from the groups that were pushing for emp. But maybe I'm just salty cause not a single knight in shining armor came to my rescue at BRK haha

Still DC pushed into EP @ Faregyl and exactly what I said would happen, happened. When I went to bed we were fighting EP @ Arrius, then Farragut, and taking EP's one scroll while AD took BRK and probably the rest of the map over night. Some people just have no mind for strategy and no plans for the long term. They were so happy that they took EP's scroll, however, by continuing to foolishly hit EP it only helps AD (who was fighting them with already superior numbers) and causes us to lose to AD. I wouldn't be surprised if I log in to another yellow map and another AD emp.
How much does the score factor in to everyone's thoughts on who/where it is important to push at any given time?
To me, score is top priority and sometimes, if I'm feeling vocal, I try to encourage DC to push wherever and whomever will bring our score either closest to the leader's score (if we are 2nd or 3rd) or the furthest from the 2nd place score (if we are in the lead).
There have been plenty of times when this is clearly not the goal from what I see in zone chat, so I'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this as well.
It was really active earlier before I left for work. AD almost emp'd again, stopped them while they were working on inner Aleswell and it seems they gave up after that.Pretty quiet today. Has everybody lost interest? I have the sense that something is about to be very different in BwB this weekend. I can feel it.

Yep, out of state this week and most of next.... finally got a chance to read the last several pages of this thread.... how's EP doing (I really don't have to ask, but I guess good news isn't totally out of the realm of possibility, right?)?

Says the faction that just took Roe lmao
EDIT: and is now at fare for no reason....

pft.. don't even go there.. after EP was taking Fare.. AD still came to try and take NIK. Maybe if you were not attacking us then maybe we would have still been on the other side of the map. Did u ever think about that?
I try so hard to agree with u.. but i can't.
