lol... nm adenoma... i read my log wrongit was 3 hits in 2 seconds, take flight, and 2 executioners within 2 secs which that is possible... hell of alot of damage though lol....8k,4k,7k lol.... came out of no where

I did that too and was really disappointed by the PvP there.

I'm sure I will be disappointed as well. It's the principal though. Need to shut down the commentary. No meteors, no dawnbreakers, no monster sets. Just 1.5 accounts worth of noob ass Stridig toons.

During my week and a half or so on Azura Star the map was always blue, the blue emp remained emp the entire campaign, and there was almost no pvp. It was extremely boring... Have things changed?

Every campaign has up hours. During off hours there are often keep upgrades and downgrades - lots of folks are capping resources because there aren't full takes happening. Resources just sit there for a while.

I could be mistaken here, I logged off for supper about that time, but the talk I heard right at the beginning of the don't defend roe stuff was not personal about Maicon, but let them dethrone because he vetted out. His name was no longer on the leaderboard, I checked before agreeing with Eunil on that one. If that progressed into personal stuff, it's not how it started.

Certain players on AD who are in certain guild(s) were talking about not taking emp keeps as long as Maicon was #1 because they wanted Alex Heir to the Throne (I think that's how his name is spelled) to get emp (he was in 2nd) so yeah history repeats itself.

I'm sure they also discouraged players from defending his emp as well. Selfish people will be selfish. Too much politics on AD.

Which guilds were talking about that? We only stopped defending after he logged/vetted or whatever. Otherwise the best AP is always at emp keeps.

Now that very well could be, I was only on for an hour or two (weekdays, that damned work thing), all the ring keeps had been taken and starting to get flipped red and blue when I came on.
I can only reference the bit about about letting Roe go after he had vetted out, and since I chimed in on that one right after it was brought up, because it sounded reasonable in that case, I wanted to disassociate from any personal stuff that might have gotten thrown in later. I don't know either one them, nor am I in any of these guilds. Hell, I don't even group more than 3 usually, so no dog in the fight.

My build actually his even harder with cp in vet so it makes it easy to 2-shot people. I get more hacro complaints too. But BwB will always be better for reasons we all know. Balance is Bae.

CP made vet into a silly game. They've basically removed sustain from the equation so you're more incentivized to just focus on damage output rather than having to juggle multiple aspects of a build.

IMO, BwB and Azura's Star are much healthier environments for lack of CP - even with 501 CP I'd prefer them out of the game.

def agree with u @Adenoma i've never played inside Trueflame or the other cp campaigns.... skill doesnt come from those extra benefits .... id rather play without those bonuses where u need to pay attention to how you build and how you use that build

You were right @Adenoma , Azura's Star was terrible tonight. People don't group or siege or anything. They just stand around and die. I encouraged the few on their forum who think we are a bunch of noobs to roll a new toon and come fight us. I guess they have fought in that environment so long that they have no idea how much fun we have.

I think CP is cool, you have a variety of different options to put your points in, making your character a little different then others.

You know back in the days of Warhammer a Certian someone of a certian guild was called out to re roll onto a destro heavy server think it was Gore-fang it balanced the server out as Order got a influx in players and turned into some of the best pvp for about 6 to 8 months . Maybe you guys need to "call out" these guys and have them taste the metal.

the cp is cool and all lol... but i think its mainly most people put points into the same things... granted others may go a little heavier in one of the trees than others...

Smiles, just to let you know I run by those nodes just so you can have them I normally stop when I'm alone.

Whenever I go to Azura's, I always see teams firing on the corners and knocking them down. Never a wall... just the corners. The best is when you rebuild it as they stand on the corner trying to fire at people and it pops them into the keep and they are trapped in that little space.

always wondered where they knocking down to try and dragon leap in? seeing it happen way more in each campaign

One time I was in AS ( thought I was in BwB ), and in zone chat I typed "Looking for Small Group". I joined and got on the crown.

This is no joke, the leader had us sneak all the way from Glade to Nik. I thought they knew something that I didn't so I went along with their plan. Got to Nik and realized these guys were just two new players, then I noticed they were Vets.

So ya, there are noobs in Vet Champaigns. Some players don't know you can play PvP before getting level 50.

Before AS became non CP I went there and it was not fun. Twenty players running from one resource to the other, or everyone balling up and running down the enemy.

I wish AS was as fun as BWB. I don't mind leveling up a new character 10-50 every time you hit vet, or even having to craft/buy new gear every now and then. What kills me is having to do the same quests OVER and OVER again to get new toons from 3 to lvl 10.

I don't mind leveling 3 to 10, because I basically just grind to get there, but what really kills me is going to get all those books ,skyshards, and riding a slooooooooooow horse.

I don't see why it can't be fun. The only problem I see, which will never go away, is unbalanced population. Most the time I look the map is one color.

I know my time is running out in BwB, I don't like deleting my characters and I maxed out my slots. So when they are all level 50 i will move over to AS until I get CP capped. ( that means i will be there for a very long time ).
