1 button masher
This 100% isn't directed at just the previous post (there have been earlier episodes of this sort of stuff), but when did this thread become the place for self-aggrandizement? Can't we just talk about campaign stuff without worrying people puffing their chests or calling others dogs?
had an AWESOME fight with emily and 2 AD members last night around Roe ... one was a sorc the other a temp ... lasted a GOOD while but those 2 won ....in the end at least one of them did /cheer ... which made me feel good... had been a few days since i saw respect from and AD member who killed me ... dont remember their names and tried to whisper one of them to say a good fight ... so if they are in this forum ( i was on my temp Ookami of Blackwater ) amazing fight and great job.. that was a blast

Do I need to confess again?
This is what I don't understand. I see people spamming the same skills over and over and over. Honestly I think there is nothing wrong with spamming.
The ganker I killed talked about how I spammed jabbed him. I said, "which skill did you spam before I forced you to use the bow". He said he used 3 skills. Well guess what dead guy, I did too. Unstoppable, BOL, and Jabs.
But really Its my character, and I should be able to be a 1 button masher if I want too.
I remember one guy from AD that spammed Teleport strikes all day long. That was kind of annoying, every time I seen the guy I was like.. jeez get off me.

Like, if an enemy isn't applying pressure, and isn't doing well playing defensively, why wouldn't I just jabs spam them to death? Why would I prolong the fight by using something other than my main damage skill when I have no reason to use something other than my main damage skill? Don't like somebody spamming a skill to kill you? Play better and they won't be able to kill you by spamming DPS because they'll actually have to play strategically... If you are applying pressure and mitigating/healing/avoiding my damage well, spamming something like jabs will just get me killed. What do people expect, you to just stand there and do nothing while they try to light attack you to death? Maybe throw in the occasional heal or dodge roll when they start to put a dent in your health bar? Damage is how you kill people in this game, so don't be shocked when somebody uses their highest damage skill to kill you, especially when you're barely even fighting back.
That being said, I have been killed by players spamming a DPS skill, and my reaction has always been "wow, I better learn to play better against that skill" rather than "wow, my opponent tried to do damage to me, how unfair, they must be terrible."

If you see me dancing on your dead body, don't whisper your friend and tell him to attack me. There is a good chance he will die, unless you have more then 1 attack me at once.
Just a friendly reminder from Emily.

If I see you dance on my friends body: I will kill you. Unless there are 5 people with you
With love,

So the game really doesn't make you choose one damage skill... 10 buttons is plenty and you certainly don't need to have 9 skills for buffs/utility/heals.
@skepticalfox most of the time at least i will be around her whether or not im visible is another story
