Lucky for me I didn't subscribe or buy into any of their DLC. I waited to see how the model worked before I sunk money into it. Can't say now I would ever subscribe or purchase content from these bunch of incompetents. If it were me I'd cut my loses and unsubscribe. I know that your hopes are that this is just a glitch and they'll fix it. I personally beleive there is a more systemic probelm with the current operating model. When a company prioritises DLC over quality of service it becomes very clear they themselves have already decided that the franchise has no real long-term future. Without a commitment and clear principle in place to ensure quality of service, producing DLC without this commitment, merely becomes a blatant money grab by the provider and is morally questionable.

If it were me, as I said I'd unsuscribe. If they fix it you can always subscribe once again. Personally feel that each and every subscriber ought to do the same, in order to send Zenimax a clear message. Will that happen? No. The sad fact is people don't act in unity, even if it were in their long-term intersts to do so. If they did we wouldn't be facing the problem with the service we are currently. People will continue to play until it dies a slow, oainful but inevitable death and then they will simply move on.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I have just today started experiencing the crashes and the lag is getting quite severe. I should have known my bliss would not last.

My crashes started when I updated to Windows 10. I didn't notice anything specifically thiefs guild related.

But now with Win10 game can crash several times in half an hour, or I might have whole evening peaceful gaming. Crashes do occur often in Thieves guild quests, though. Or when I'm dismounting.

With Win7 I really had rare crashes.

IMHO it´s not a operating system fault...I have both, W10 on desktop, W7 on my notebook (as I wrote few posts earlier) and after last update (hotfix, patch whatever, about last week) cannot play on both machine. Two weeks after TG (that time played normaly) something goes wrong, and only what I see after char select is "An error has occured" msg...

And because it´s more than week, during my holiday (planned to level my DK), so unsub and uninstall...

I havent had a crash on PC 64 bit client since March 10th. Win10, gtx 555, i5, I was still getting the pink textures until the last update that fixed it. Still get audio bugs occasionally though.

Come ZoS fix the damn random DC and honest dont tell me it is my hardware for i can tell you this it is not.

I have got 2 random DC so far today and last evening i got like 6 random DC in row

So here´s the thing - I came back on 28th March from my holiday entitlement, started ESO and launcher has downloaded some patch or hotfix, about 700MB or so, and after this I have perma DC after logging onto any of my chars...I have tried almost everything I have read on forums, no luck, so I have unistalled ESO from my deskop but...

Yesterday I´ve tried to make a hotspot on my phone and switch my notebook i-net connection to this, than launched ESO...and NO DC right after login, can play normally, did my stuff on my crafter char, so I´ve logged out and switch to my internet provider (thought ZoS finally fixed it) and BOM, DC right after login "An error has occured" msg...

Any idea what to do? This happens only with ESO, can play WoT, WoW, Diablo, GW2, SWTOR with no DC, I have no exceptions in my firewall settings, and this happens ony desktop with W10 64b and on notebook with W7 64b...

I total agree with you blame the players for all this random DC is just lazy way to not fix the problem and why i know it is not on my end is for i have new computer that less the 2 week old so chance it is my computer = 0

So thise random DC peolpe is get is on ZoS end and not the palyers end

I feel like this shouldn't need to be stated, but I hope ZOS realizes how badly the consoles are crashing since TG. It's really, really bad.

Happens daily, nightly, in any form of content. It's derailing our attempts to compete in vMoL because we can't keep all 12 people online for a whole fight.

Edit: Just logged in for the first time today. Crashed <1 min after login while checking mail. This is getting ridiculous.

My client keeps crashing 10 seconds after the first time I log in each day. After that it is usually fine.

Past 3 hours on PS4:

Freeze/ crash during (very long) seige in Cyrodiil. Booted to login.
Kept me at login for a good 20 minutes because "could not connect to server" (my internet was fine).
Booted twice after switching to PvE (Eastmarch/Silver)

So please be aware that this is not an issue exclusive to PC/MAC players.

I'd also have thought, with the excruciating amount of maintenance you've done/ been doing/ are doing, this would not be an issue at this point. Please fix your game. When there are no technical issues, it's an incredibly fun game. It just seems that the crashes/ boots/ disconnects are getting more frequent, and the enjoyment I find in this game has a direct inverse correlation.

Please.

Well yes, it can be a coincidence.Though I don't get errors, just regular crashes with crash report window.

For a few days I've been playing in Wrothgar without constant crashes. But when I try to play Thieves guild content, crashes begin. I usually write on crash reports, that I'm sneaking and stealing for Crime Spree or Under Our Thumbs quests.

It's the same for me, but i have trying for 10 days now, doing most that i can do. From reinstall to check the computor for drivers/hardware. But now its the end. Il Quit the game and not resub.

I experience frequent crashes on the 32bit client since Thursday - 7th of April. At first i thought it was some addon, so i disabled them, and then switched them on one by one. Crashes were independent to addons. The game crashes regardless of where i am - world or Cyrodiil. I get a nice screenie to submit the problem, after which the client closes, so i have to restart the game. Repair fixed it for 2-3 hours, and the first Cyro i entered it crashed.

The 64bit one runs flawlessly, but with occasional hissing sounds.

Windows 10 64bit. nvidia 760 GTS. Version 362 drivers. Intel iCore 4970K processor.

Memory leaks in the 64b. Crashing happens almost instantly upon login regularly. Latency and framerate spikes happen at regular intervals (or so it seems) no matter where I am in Tamriel. It happens in both pvp and pve, and particularly bad in all trials (as opposed to dungeons), and occurs in cities, out in the wilderness, and inside small dwellings. Basically, there is no escape from the poor performance of this game.

We've put up with a lot of crap over the last couple years, but I always said that once this game becomes unplayable I will go. I'm about there. FIX YOUR DAMN GAME. I'm tired of cancelling trials because we can't *^#$*(% stay connected.

My internet provider said it could be ZOS servers blocking my IP, some kind of black list or what after last update...because insta DC righ after logging screen continues...

Sounds more likely that your ISP is giving you a line of BS. ZOS wouldn't "blacklist" you unless you were attacking their servers or doing something blatantly against the Terms Of Service.

Yesterday night we had 12 wipes at the last boss in MoL, it was ridiculous, each try 2 different people would crash. It's not about addons, it's not about graphics settings, it's about the way the game is made. I am not an expert but there's clearly a huge problem wich you need to put some money on to get fixed, get decent professionals to work on them with urgency. Some mate left the game because of that yesterday. Another m8 left the game 6 days ago because he couldn't log in, and he even payed subscription 2 days before that. It is a scam. We're paying each month for quality gaming not for this. The game is good but it is unplayable.

Everybody is hollering about how bad the 64b client is. Do what I did and go back to the 32b client until it is fixed. Have not had a crash in over 2 or 3 weeks.

I have been using the 64 every day since DLC launched except for one during the first week. Only had one crash since first week, only issues I have now are the audio bugs.

Xbox NA abnormal endings continue to occur with any inventory related activity; e.g., banker, clothing station provide excellent opportunities to send this user unceremoniously to the desktop.

Any ETA for a repair?
