I think its too early to tell considering how patch days go the first day.
Give it a week maybe two and we'll see i think.

Between crashes, I find performance better with the 64-bit client than with the 32-bit client.

No, it simply doesn't run due to endless crashes and on a Mac there is no failsafe option of running the 32bit client....its been removed!

Theres a significant FPS loss with the 32bit client. The loss is a bit less on the x64 client. Its still a loss.

Too early to tell. Ask this again after a couple weeks when they have everything optimized.

Exactly my thought, that's why I put in "other" option. My own opinion on this is that this is ineded too early to get any harsh feelings about it, feels like it was rushed. So I'm sticking to 32bit for now, see what changes.

I'm getting slightly more FPS but it does crash a lot. Even prompts a send report window, which I have never got before in all the time I've played the game. Therefore; going back to 32 bit client until 64 bit is made more stable. :)

Too soon to say as I have never had any performance issues with the game and won't even bother looking at the 64 bit client until all the teething issues have been fixed, and only then really if there is a need to do so.

    Yes, slight change
The game in itself got worse performance-wise, and for EU players we get infinite loading screens, crashes and can't log in, but it's not the problem of 32 or 64 bit client, we get these problems on both of them. FPS-wise I can see a slight increase in Hew's Bane on the 64-bit client but it's so badly optimized that it won't matter on what client you run it, 30+ fps in peak times is almost impossible.

Probably too soon to tell but at the moment the game play was just horrible - everything was clunky at best, annoyingly lagged at worst. Most attacks failed to show, the animation failing to keep up with the actions - mobs just died (as they should have done) with no weapon animation to show that anything was going on.

Even going through conversations was annoyingly clunky.

I'll try the 32 bit tomorrow...

Tried both, the 64bit and 32bit. Noticed shuttering, rubber banding, low fps, high pings at times. What is really frustrating is ZOS was told about the problem.

The was posted on the thread "why are you seeing low fps rates"

They had been told about the. 40% performance loss on 32bit client and 20% performance loss on 64bit client compared to latest orsinium live patch 2.2.11 but it was not important enough to fix before bringing it live.

So now many folks have to put up with the problem. Heck haven't been to Cyro yet to see how bad it will be there.

How do you get to the 32 bit?

You run the 32bit client via the ESO launcher. It automaticly defaults to 32bit.

    Yeah,I tried,but it isnt the problem.I have a 64 bit system,so it's my video card. I just bought one at a really good price,suggested by someone here.So,if it works I'll be fine. :}

My FPS before the patch was always around 45-60. On 32bit client, it went down to 20-25, about 10(!) in fights. 64bit client it's around 40FPS and 20-25 in fights - either way a huge step back.

I even turned down the graphics from High to minimum on the 64bit version, there was no noticeable difference.

Frames are better in situations where I had good fps but the fps where my frames suffered such as cities got maybe a couple frames worth of a difference increase which is still well under 30fps. Also I heard a mammoth speak in giant and I don't know how I should feel killing off such a unique creature.

What game? GPU not Directx 11 compatible. 83/90 days sub ticking down, 9k crowns still waiting to be used, v15 ready to be 16 in TG DLC in wait and farmed enough gold to cover respects and possible new vendor gear. Q_Q G_G Q_Q.

On the flip side there are some very affordable GPUs and some very helpful suggestions on the forum so I'll likely get one and improve my gaming experiences as a whole which has been long overdue.

Yes, the game is much more playable now
I've been playing for a while now and didn't crash yet. That's great, since I used to crash every time I went back into character selection screen (effectively making me start the game and log in again every time I wanted to change characters).

I'm having weird sound glitches though, the same I had on PTS.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    No, not significant
Performance-wise I see not much of a difference - it might be more stable fps-wise in crowded areas, but I am not certain about that. Time to test was too short, before I ran into graphical issues.

It looks pretty much the same when you were on high graphics before - I had the impression that particle effects are a bit smoother, but I could be wrong. Ah well, distant terrain seems to load quicker and the transition is smoother,

Mixed. I noticed a smoother FPS and some of the plants appeared to have better graphics. Started my newest VR1 on Caldwell Silver. Razum Dar kept taking of his breastplate when I talked to him, there was also cases of quest NPC having no face during the quest interfacing. Ran in Cyrodill for a bit had a decent fight with 20-30 players on both sides with no drop in frame rate. Went to stable before I logged all the horses where pink. So I am guessing they will optimize. I will likely stick with 32bit until they do the fix for frame rate issues.

I think it's good. I don't have lag like before in PvP.

But both 32bits and 64bits applications crash very often.
64bits client has many visual and sound problems (purple mount, color blocks, etc.)

Definitely too early to really tell, but initial impressions are that my FPS is way up, and I have yet to see any crashes, textures not loading, etc.

It used to be that on ultra setting I would average around 35 FPS (which is near the low end for smooth FPS - you want to always be at or above 30). Now so far I've been at 130-170 FPS.
