I've been hoping for a very long time that the Thieves' Guild DLC would introduce quests sending you back to parts of Tamriel you've already visited, making use of the Outlaw Sanctuaries in various cities. Ever since hearing that they're doing exactly this, I've been super excited for the DLC.

No new skill lines and no pvp portion of the justice system killed it and all but killed the game for me

I am partially excited, not only for the release, but (hopefully) the fixing of mechanics that come along with it. Ive noticed that the forum anger is coming back more by the day since the live episode hype is dying down. Hard to say forum members are "whiny" when there is so many broken skills and mechanics sprouting up that ZOS really doesn't seem to care about. Multiple mundus? Cmon ZOS...

We'll see. The passives sound pretty 'meh' for someone who only steals to level legerdemain. But I'll have fun questing through it I hope, and the heist quests could be good.

I am very excited as a solo player. I will spend a lot of time with this content too.
My fear is that it will not have anyone to play if so it goes. We have a small guild ~20-30 active players almost from the beginning. Keeping us together the team spirit and the TeamSpeak, but wr do not really have many options to do together. The emphasis here is on possibilities.

The end contents in this game is very poor now. We see improvements but it is too slow. The new trial with the scalable solution is an amazing idea. We just hope this trial won't stuck on VR16, as did with AA (VR10) etc.

What can we do now? There are a few only: the Sewers, daily pledges, and the new trial.
The old 3 trial is now extinct, DSA extinct too. ZOS should be improved (scalable trials, with refreshed loots)
In my opinion with every DLC should arrive a new veteran version dungeon to the existing normal dungeons (from Arx Corinium to Vaults of Madness).

Pretty monotonous every evening, same daily pledge and run in the sewers.

I have no problem with this dlc but we need more group content, first step would be only just make playable the old group contents.

I am actually excited about the DLC, not because I would be a thief, I am currently not stealing anything, if you don't count breaking the locks of treasure chests. But I like finding those chests and I like as well the mini-game of lock picking. With the new DLC come new troves all over Tamriel and that is something I am looking forward to. Then I love arid, semi-desert like environments a lot, and the new DLC will bring this and I am excited about exploring it. I might even start to do some thievery, it is not really one of my favorites, but I like sneaking around and stealth gameplay, and this DLC is said to be all about stealth, thievery is just part of the gameplay but it seems to be more about stealth, so I hope to really enjoy this DLC.

With this said, maybe Dark Brotherhood will be more my kind of thing - assassinations go well with stealth gameplay, I would rather prefer that than stealing stuff, stealing souls is more exciting. But maybe I will get used to stealing as well, if it is somewhat more challenging than the current thievery, which is basically a joke, because just NPC count as witnesses. It would be great, if other players would count as witnesses as well, then it would be a challenge, but currently it is just plcking up stuff without a risk, because you can just observe the motion pattern of NPCs and adjust to those - much too easy.

Now it just looks like a single-player sneaking simulator.

I can already do that in games where I can make choices, and my actions have consequences. It's called the Elder Scrolls. Don't know what this thing is supposed to be.

The thing I like most are the new motifs. Cant really get excited for them much as I rather dislike mass PvP. Thus I wont be getting them unless they end up in the cash shop (and at 5k a pop I might not be buying them even then).

Sooooo excited!!! And mainly due to the fact that the Thieves Guild is a staple for all ES games. Plus, the more elements like this they add, the more alive the world is gonna feel. And for us classic ES fans it's about time!
