Valkyn Skoria set: its very different proc rate before and after the IC release

I did a lot of testing on the PTS using the infinite health mob. Results? Skoria is *definitely* NOT bugged anymore. It procs very often with DOT heavy builds. The DPS is back on par with Nerieneth like it should be.

If you don't have Kena, either Skoria or Nerieneth will be the way to go. I still think Kena beats both of them, though, no matter the build.

5 seconds is the minimum time between procs, that isnt very often imo.

I can proc Nerienths more often with Crushing Shock for example.

At this point I would prefer 1pc Molag Kena over 2pc Valkyn, even on a magicka DK with multiple DOTs.

I highy doubt it, so Valkyn, especially on a magic DK seems to be the way to go.

Kena is supposed to get fixed when the update drops.

After talking with @Asayre his testing of Maw did Not include the use of Daedric Prey.

His testing of maw came out to be approximately 50% less damage than Nerien’eth. But if you include daedric prey, (if you have Prey up during the entirety of the maw) it actually has the potential to provide more dps than Nerien’eth (potentially 5%ish more)

In this monster helm discussion I think it may be of some interest to think about maw on these terms.
