I'm not one for the Team Purple concept, but as an AD player tonight was the worst PvP I've had in a while. The fact that EP is primetime pushing AD while DC has throne is practically offensive. There's no conspiracy, but I'm beginning to worry that there's also no logic.

Its just that no one really cares for dethroning as much as in the earlier days of BWB, since now each day you might get either a DC emp or an AD emp with Ep stuck in Arrius. This campaign is not balanced anymore and not fun as like it was in 1.5 when there was some campaign cycles where there was no emp and getting emp meant beating two factions with pop capped armies.
Speaking for AD, we're always trying to push for the dethrone - and that's independent of the alliance that has emperor. It's not fun PvP to let the emperor reign and get pushed to your gates. When emperors are allowed to reign for a while, we get situations like the current server status. I logged on this morning, hoping for some good AP and found that DC was just farming a scroll with most of their alliance at a Roe resource with a forward camp for good measure. I went over to the EP side of the map, felt bad killing the two PvE folks I saw, and then logged.
I don't know where EP went, whether they left the campaign or rerolled DC/AD, but I agree that it's not a healthy environment to have a de facto two alliances with the occasional third wheel.
I don't mean to chastise EP, but it was pretty disappointing to have you all dying on the bridge and at the front door of Alessia while my guild knocked down Glademist's outer last night to cut transit to Aleswell and Ash.

The notion of "Purple alliance" is baloney. Given that our group of 6 was repeatedly wiping the EP at Alessia, they clearly were not an organized group. EP is not DC's lapdog.
I think the current situation is the result of two things: people leaving the BwB environment and people wanting to be on the winning team. Right now, deadlyrecluse is correct that DC is the best organized alliance by a fair measure. Others are correct that it's not fun to be wildly outnumbered. Skill and organization only gets you so far against volume.
LOL emily, its been that way a few times... but we all learn fast that its not really that much fun once it gets that way ... although the D ticks are nice lol .... although could possible get another fight like on the 15th of this month at Ash.... that was INTENSE!!... so much so that my audio cut out like 4 times lol
