I'm a BWB AD only player. Lets get that out of the way. Now, you can not blame EP, DC or the so called purple alliance for the state of pvp while Sharakor had emp. You can only blame the 95% of AD players who did NOTHING but turtle inside alessia ALL day and night for Dtics instead of pushing to retake keeps DC had taken. Selfish AD players are to blame for the score nothing else.

Dueling proves nothing in my opinion(unless dueling practice). Heh, I think we fought few times. You're pretty average.

Next night, majority of AD was pushing blue at Ash, letting Sej and Drakelow stay in Red's hands. On the other hand, Blue had their fist up Red's Chalman and a scroll still on Red's border at Dragonclaw.

What does Red do? Constantly siege Alessia. Where's the EMP excuse for that? That was a perfect opportunity to carve Blue up and Red had the most to gain as they are in last place and we had all of Blue bottled up in Ash.

Instead they wait until midnight to take back their home keeps. Good job Reds. You'll probably lose those when the morning Blue crew shows up. Blue still has over 1k lead in scoreboard and owns all our scrolls. Like I said before and what was my whole point to those of you who can't read: Red, stop being Blues little lapdog. It's time for an Orange alliance.

I was at Nikel last night, side door was down and I had my siege pointed to the flag ( Lucky me someone kept me alive by spamming heals ). But every time I looked at the flag, I was thinking.. geez those guys don't die they duplicate. There were so many AD inside nikel it was crazy.

The Alessia siege was the normal bridge fight nonsense. Notice none of those pushes were particularly successful. Once red had numbers (looked like their groups picked up around 12:30 a.m. EST), they actually pushed blue quite hard last night.

Again, there are no grand conspiracies.

There were not as many AD inside as you might think actually. Through half that battle you outnumbered us by quite a bit.

Which brings me to something I have been wanting to talk about. Honestly, BwB has sucked since TG came out. This new meta of everyone throw down a ballista at the first sign of a fight is just crap. All alliances are doing it and it makes for very boring fights. Basicly comes down to who has the most seige up. There is no more PvP, its just SvS. (siege vs siege) The no CP is great, its exactly what BwB needed. However, the siege damage buff has made all battles, weather it be in the open field or at a keep, just suck. DC should have been able to cap Nikel last night just like AD should have been able to cap Ash at one point when we had the inners down. Siege damage is the only thing that stopped those two things from happening. The open field battles used to be my favorite. Now, as soon as you see the enemy coming, within a few seconds there are frigging ballistas and fire trebs set up. WTF ZO$

Just like you cant keep people from running right at a front door to there flaming death...you also can stop people from using this trashy tactic. It kills stuff and you don't even have to do anything but aim a green arrow. No skill needed in BwB anymore...you just need more siege than the other guys.

That's partially why I have only been active in BWB once since TG dropped. I went in and did my usual thing, saw how much siege was being used (didn't help that it was an AD emp deposition fight at Roe) from the walls of the keep and even out in open field, and called it a night. I can't say I didn't see it coming from the day the siege buff/no cp announcements were made, and mentioned as much to the few friends I keep.

Oh well. I'll be keeping an eye one things anyhow, and maybe one day my big pink blueberry orc will make his return to the battlefield. You know, when things like gap closers, dk leap, and wings are working again.

When people talk about the "purple alliance", they are not saying there is some backdoor conspiracy. What they are referring to is exactly the situation that happened last night.

I did not pursue the EP scroll last night to see what would happen when there was no reason for EP to hit us. DC still had EPs other scroll and they did nothing but "purple" us all night. With DC hitting roe and fare, and EP hitting alessia and fare. THIS is what people mean by getting purpled. It absolutely is a thing. I have been in Blasckwater a LONG time. I would have to say that the northern part of Cyro looks exactly the same as it did last nigt...EP has chal, DC has bleakers and Dragon 90% of the time. The only time EP and DC fight is when one of them has EMP. So dont give me that BS that all factions do it. AD fights on both fronts all the time.

DC...your compass only points south because you know if you split your forces and fight on two fronts, you will loose.

EP you guys are just strategically impaired for not taking your other scroll back instead of failing repeatedly at alessia and the bridge.

It would be interesting If Cyrodiil ever had some map change ( who Knows a Molg Bal story line ) and a River flowed from then Snow capped Moutains up North and a River was there that ran from the western edge of Fort Dragon Claw and ran south to the East of Fort Aswell and Then Red and Blue could have there own bridge fights

I agree to a certain extent--I think both siege and NPCs need to be toned down just a hair in BwB. Siege in particular seems balanced around CP currently.

And yeah, the constant red pokes at Alessia last night were a little odd.

Although I hesitate to type the following in this forum I have no other way to contact my friends, Dae, Ice, Blue, Will, Eff, Arquin, many others and my GM Theo, so excuse me. No doubt I have been booted out of my trading guilds by now.

Oliver Lee and I have been stuck in some sort of install/repair/dl/ cycle, our pc's are more than compatible, we have tried all trouble shooting tips, clearly nothing has worked. Yes, we have contacted customer support 5ish times, they stopped replying a week ago. (yes, I got pissy with them) We're in Aust. our d/l speeds are average at the best of times but it doesn't excuse 67% after 52 hours from install.

In this time we have downloaded 4 other games...

I didn't even get to log on to give away all my stuff!

Arquin, I suppose the point of this post is to let my mates know yet again that we may be back when we can but we're kinda lost the urge to play.

Its in our nature to fight AD more than DC, our blood runs red and flows down like how we march across the bridge to Alessia. Its simply in our nature and if DC was placed in AD's position we would go for DC more. Lastly we are mostly pugs without direction so we must follow our nature.

Not sure there pugs alright herded by a different factions master?? I actually popped in to see the BwB experience and I seen AD take back much of the map I seen them run a scroll to Ep? I seen EP never push Dagger even with Dagger sitting at 1 Keep left for Emp I just wonder what the EP faction calls fun for themselves now a days lol from launch till last night it looks like they are at a all time Ebb in there overall faction..

Nice to see the Orange alliance finally happen. Probably too late to affect the scoreboards now. It should have happened when I called for it in the middle of the week. It should of happened when Blue took EMP yesterday. Instead it happens today when we wake up to an entire BLUE map.

These last two weeks have been dominated by Blue. I think we should keep this alliance going. Keep em down while were able.

EDIT: NVM, Reds too hungry for Alessia...

I usually dont make negative comments on in game videos of other people because they probably worked hard getting footage of ganks and stuff but... god.. i really couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of WB spamming. With clips from last patch too.

I know you're a good player man but, even though you know mechanics and all, my honest guest is that no-CP really hurt you.

I'll set up the 1v3 u wanted as soon as I reroll my nightblade since I already vet'd out.

lol @ team orange. We ( Pugz of Daggerfall ) felt sorry for you; went to AS and took back most the map ( including dethroning the AD Emp ).

I'm sure if we were in BwB you would have been still fighting for Fare

I must say, with all the talk of purple and orange, i do have a tendency to enjoy attacking AD more than DC. A lot of that hate comes from a guild on AD that ran with 501 CP and would tower farm resources...

On the other hand, been seeing a lot of super tanky DC builds that are just annoying....

L2quote it was me who said that. You talk a lot of trash for someone who is always found on a siege weapon lol every time I find you, you are on a siege as far away from the actual battle as you can pissibly be. Then I come after you, and you run.

I figured it was you guys who ran the map on azurus. Im sure it was realy hard fighting all those NPCs since there was one bar pop of AD on at the time. I know because I was running a group in IC at the time.
