Just as the daft as assuming pc players are geeks with no girlfriend or social skills.
First off this is silly.
1- Text chat should NOT come to consoles. THEY ARE CONSOLES . You are supposed to use voice chat like any other game on the consoles. Which EVERYONE uses. So if you don't like talking on a mic then you shouldn't own a console and expect text chat because it is very clunky like in final fantasy. Who wants text all over there screens ?

1. EVERYONE does not use voice chat on console. For example in my guild of 500, about 150 are online at any given time. Guess how many people were in our main chat channel last night? 2.
2. Who wants text all over their screen? Is the bottom left corner "all over" the screen? If you don't like it you can always close it

You must not of read what I said later. I never said that guild chat or area chat were good or ideal situations of communication with other players. Groups are. If you invite someone to your group 9/10 times they will have a mic. If you want to type text back in forth with your "guildies" while standing around in Wayrest then go to PC. If you want to talk to your group members efficiently then consoles are superior considering you don't have to download "TS" and have everyone asking "what's the TS server?"
It's like wanting text chat for battlefield. When you are in the middle of a battle you don't have time to type when your being shot at. Same thing with ESO, if your pvping or doing dungeons the most efficient way is voice chat. No way am I going to open click on the little window, wait for the Xbox keyboard to pop up, and individually click each letter until I make a half decent sentence and send it. Id be dead by then. No one will use it if it's implemented and you will see. That's why it's not there. So many people complain there's no text chat on console but no one complains why there's no native support for voice chat on PC ?
Lmao, so this, cracks me up every time I think of it, then coming on forums screaming for nerfs.
Comedy gold.

Ok I must have missed that forum "episode." Is it still available? I feel like I have become addicted to his discussions. I find myself looking for his user name constantly...
Ahh I see the one with the video. lol

Why should we feel second class? Because of text chat?
I log-in, enter guild-chat, find sometimes 2, sometimes 10 other guys, decide what to do and start playing.
Sometimes we do dailies, sometimes we PVP, sometimes we complain about bugs lol
When my guildies are off or are busy doing other things I don't feel like doing (hello Imperial Sewers) I go to the Undaunted Enclave and most of the times I \hello somebody I know because he plays as much as me and I'm in a pledge group in 10 minutes. No text chat needed.
Even when I go to Cyrodill, I just jump in a castle when there's action, ask for a group with emotes or using area chat and get an invite in a few minutes.
We might be behind in the learning curve skillwise and 1-2 weeks behind when they release content but it doesn't matter.
Some of the guys here supported the game long before we even bought it, so they deserve to come first.
When the time is due we'll get buff-timers, DPS meters ect, for now enjoy the game as much as you can, it's really fun despite bugs ect if you play it with a good group.

The reality is...if your perspective is that PC is better, jump ship.
It's not just him.

Lol let's just hope that by the time they add those things to console it's not already to late and the gane is dead by then idk about xbox one but on ps4 I've seen a major drop in population in places it use to be busy at there ain't hardly no one there anymore

Then it's just a few of you cause no one is being forced to play on consoles as PC exists

No I doubt that it's even so dead now that on that campaign were that DK is imperial city is so dead that people are just standing around not being able to have a full war cause there is only a few people from each alliance on at a time isn't like it use to be were there was whole groups of alliances going at it this is why dueling in the combat arena can be achieved now cause of lack of people interfereing from the opposite alliance didn't use to be able to do that especially in the arena district just that fact people can stand around and not get killed by 20 other people from a group from another alliance proves the game has had a decline in population

You obviously don't play on Azura's star, and no topside not the sewers.
