To be honest, I'm not in a huge hurry to get it all back - the important thing to me is that it does all come back. If it takes a little longer, but that ensures everything gets put back the way it was before, that would be better than doing it more quickly but having it not restore everything. Just my opinion.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Just letting you all know that we should have a better idea of our plans for this before the weekend. Stay tuned, and thanks again for your patience. i'm planning on getting all those stacks of over 180 out und only put in stacks to that amount at max
anyone tried something like that and can give a hint about any consequences?
ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Ok everyone, we have an update for you on this issue.
For anyone that lost items from stacks of 200 in the guild bank, your missing items will be reimbursed during next week’s PC maintenance (Monday for NA, and Tuesday for EU). You won’t need to do anything, as the items will appear in your guild bank after maintenance is complete. For anyone that erroneously received more items in their guild bank and currently has stacks over 200, consider it a gift.
The only action you’ll need to take is in the event you’ve removed an entire stack of an affected item into your personal inventory or personal bank. All you’ll need to do is move it back into the guild bank sometime before Monday.
Thanks again for your patience while we investigated this issue. We know it was frustrating, but we appreciate you hanging in there.

Thanks for this Gina. Point of clarification: do the affected stacks need to be sitting in the guild bank at 183 items per stack (ie. the way they ended up after the patch) in order for you to identify that they need reimbursements, or can they be there at any quantity (like if someone ran Roomba to re-stack them)? For the 2 banks I manage, nothing has been touched since the patch so it won't make a difference for me, but for people who have touched their guild banks, it would be helpful to know.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Ok everyone, we have an update for you on this issue.

Exactly, it was the reasonable thing to do and just wait and not add or remove anything at all
At least this is what i did.. Stacking and moving stuff around is asking for trouble imho
It is like contaminating a crime scene in CSI ^^

And if some of the items were used.. Since you said it was safe to use them? Are we SOL or do we need to have stacks of 183 in there to be topped up?

Even better question... If I put in a stack of 183 of something that wasn't even in there at all during the last update, will I get 17 more of them free on Monday?
ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »You do not need to have stacks of exactly 183 in order to be reimbursed, and creating a random stack of 183 between now and Monday will not allow you to get items. There are various database reasons why, but you don't want me to try explaining it.
As for any stacks that have been re-stacked, you will still be reimbursed. In the event you feel you're missing some items, though, just let us know and we'll work with you.
Actually, as someone who deals with databases every day, I kind of do... But it would probably bore most people to tears, so that's just fineZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »You do not need to have stacks of exactly 183 in order to be reimbursed, and creating a random stack of 183 between now and Monday will not allow you to get items. Nice job @nooblybear I'm sure this will be helpful for a lot of folks!nooblybear wrote: »I've created an addon (183) that will scan your guild bank history (you'll have to fill it up by hitting E in the relevant guild bank all tab), and look for any withdrawels of stacks of 183. You can then see which stacks were modified, and then use that as a reference to how many might need to go back in. It doesns't currently check deposits, but it could be extended to do that. It helped me, so I hope it helps others!

ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »This issue should have been fixed. Is anyone else running into a similar issue with stacks of 200?
Like many other players I have a private guild with a personal guild bank. This bank is filled to the brim with stacks of 200 of all kinds of crafting materials. Or rather it used to be, because after the patch the stacks have been reduced to 183 all across the board. This costs me insane amounts of materials, especially painfil with upgrade materials and the v15/16 mats. HOW THE *** COULD SCREW THIS UP ZOS? I am at a loss for words in the face of so much incompetence.
