Well, for me it wasn't difficult to create, as nobody had touched the guild bank, and I knew that virtually everything in there was stacked to 200. From that it was easy to make a list of everything that was at 183 (each of which lost 17 items), and everything that was at over 200 (those stacks had variable amounts of items added to them).

My guild bank has lost a lot of materials because of this patch, in the picture below you see stacks of 166 and 200...yesterday those were all stacks of 200. I made sure to keep 400 of each material type for blacksmithing, clothing and woodworking so anyone in the guild could use it if they needed it, now its partly gone. Please fix this and make sure our materials are returned.

    Orsinium%20Patch%20Lost%20Materials_zps6c8ehh3c.jpg

Single stacks of 200 seem to get reduced to 183 as shown here.
Other stacks seem to have been increased in number when there was originally a stack of 200 and a stack under 200. The Bloodstone for example I know before the patch we had one stack of 195 and one stack of 200...now we have stacks of 4, 200 & 217. It would seem your guild bank bug not only taketh...but giveth as well.

The diamonds are showing the same behavior as the first picture I posted, one stack reduced from 200 to 166 and one stack of 200 left intact.
    Orsinium%20Patch%20Lost%20Materials%202_zps37mtiqxd.jpg

I would suggest the scope of this bug may be larger than you initially thought.

Happened to me also (on EU). All 200 stacks are now 183.
I tried to submit it as a bug ingame, but the report button was not working.

This issue should have been fixed. Is anyone else running into a similar issue with stacks of 200?

Members in my guild have complained about this issue too. I personaly had no such experience because I almost use and sell most stuff before it hits maximum.

ZOS, just a little advice. When a MMO developer has item loss, you shut down the game until it's resolved. Period. You then determine if a rollback is needed and determine a fix.

You do not let players continue to play and destroy the MMO economy while finding a fix.

Seriously, I know why you guys didn't implement a Auction House. You have zero experience with MMO economy basics.

For all the Guild Banks that are also gaining materials, what do you think is the first thing they are doing? Selling them as quickly as possible before you guys patch it. No different than a duping glitch.

Seriously, hire a economist. You will get a quick reality check.

I feel so bad for Gina right now. She's not the programmer that screwed this up. She was told, with the rest of us, that this was a known issue from the PTS that would be fixed.

Now, someone (or a group of someones) at ZOS flat out didn't do their job, and Gina has to take and handle the full brunt of the hate and rage from the playerbase.

Don't get me wrong, the annoyance is totally justified. ZOS really messed this one up, and it shows a total lack of competence on their part.

But Gina is just the messenger, and if I were her, I'd want to beat the living tar our of whoever screwed this up, for causing her to have to deal with us because of it.

'My AH crap?' Lol. I could care less if they implement one or not.

You need to look bigger picture. ZOS is not taking this issue seriously in regards to the impact on the MMO economy. Each hour this isn't fixed, is another hour of items that didn't exist flood the market for quick sales.

This is why you shutdown the game until it's fixed. Obviously they forgot to code the ability to just shutdown the guild bank or the guild store. At a minimum you should bring down both of those.

I am fairly sure they have disabled guild banks before (when the guild bank dupe error made it into live despite being reported by beta testers... oh hold on, is there a pattern forming here?)

But yeah iirc they can shut guild banks down globally.

Why they haven't done it this time is beyond me, I just know there must be someone out there giggling over a stack of 244 tempering alloy that didn't exist yesterday, and selling it off.

Sadly, if history is any indicator, ZOS will not even apologize publically for this incident (or even admit fault). What's worse is that the issue was acknowledged by an employee of ZOS three weeks before Orsinium's launch yet it was not resolved. They have some serious communication issues, both internally and with this community.

Guys, relax. They were aware of the issue, ARE aware of the issue, and are working on a fix.

I'm guessing the reason this made it to Live is two-fold:

One: Not enough players actually testing on PTS to catch the entirety of what causes this bug. If you want a more stable live release, then go contribute to more stable test code.

Two: The fix for this bug did not get committed to the live code, either because the fix broke more important things, or because the fix was incomplete.

We already know they're sorry about it. They're human, they make mistakes, something slipped through. Demanding more in terms of apology, speed of fix, replacement of items, etc in a "consumer privilege" tone is NOT helping the situation, not for you and not for the other players affected.

When you stop being human and use your omnipotence and omniscience to craft The Perfect, Flawless, Bug-Free MMORPG, you can point to your example and say, "This is how it is done." Until then, just chill. It's a big world out there. Go get some fresh air and center yourself, and let the people working hard behind the scenes do their job as they see fit. Patience will see this through.

The one thing odd about this whole problem is, are stacks supposed to be limited to 200? How could anything stack over that amount?

I reported the bug on the PTS because I saw it in my personal bank. They fixed that bug else we would all have lost a lot of ur personal items.

The problem is that they didn't think the same bug would affect guild banks. Which to me say that they don't have enough man hours available to fix or look for wider consequences of bugs.

Our guild bank was also heavily affected.

    Server: NA
    Guild name: Unlimited

As soon as I saw this had occurred, I disabled all bank permissions, and reported it in-game, through the /help UI.
I have not yet received a response.

Some updated information would be greatly appreciated, as well as an ETA on a fix.

Hindsight is 20/20 here. This had been reported when the US data was on the PTS, and was not reported fixed until much later in the test cycle. There should have been a second US data copy to permit us to confirm the fix was successful.
