Too late to lock down guild bank.

Well, for me it wasn't difficult to create, as nobody had touched the guild bank, and I knew that virtually everything in there was stacked to 200. From that it was easy to make a list of everything that was at 183 (each of which lost 17 items), and everything that was at over 200 (those stacks had variable amounts of items added to them).wish i had an itemized list...
guild bank is just a mess.

ZOS, just a little advice. When a MMO developer has item loss, you shut down the game until it's resolved. Period. You then determine if a rollback is needed and determine a fix.
You do not let players continue to play and destroy the MMO economy while finding a fix.
Seriously, I know why you guys didn't implement a Auction House. You have zero experience with MMO economy basics.
For all the Guild Banks that are also gaining materials, what do you think is the first thing they are doing? Selling them as quickly as possible before you guys patch it. No different than a duping glitch.
Seriously, hire a economist. You will get a quick reality check.

Stop trying to make this an Auction House thread, this has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Take your AH crap somewhere else unless it's related to the bug at hand.
This is why you shutdown the game until it's fixed. Obviously they forgot to code the ability to just shutdown the guild bank or the guild store. At a minimum you should bring down both of those.

Too late to lock down guild bank.
I was able to lock down one of my guild banks before anyone added or removed anything.
Again, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for this making it to live. This was reported and acknowledged on PTS and a fix was supposed to be in place to prevent this from ever happening.
Whoever was responsible for this should face some serious consequences.
Guys, relax. They were aware of the issue, ARE aware of the issue, and are working on a fix.
I'm guessing the reason this made it to Live is two-fold:
One: Not enough players actually testing on PTS to catch the entirety of what causes this bug. If you want a more stable live release, then go contribute to more stable test code.
Two: The fix for this bug did not get committed to the live code, either because the fix broke more important things, or because the fix was incomplete.
We already know they're sorry about it. They're human, they make mistakes, something slipped through. Demanding more in terms of apology, speed of fix, replacement of items, etc in a "consumer privilege" tone is NOT helping the situation, not for you and not for the other players affected.
When you stop being human and use your omnipotence and omniscience to craft The Perfect, Flawless, Bug-Free MMORPG, you can point to your example and say, "This is how it is done." Until then, just chill. It's a big world out there. Go get some fresh air and center yourself, and let the people working hard behind the scenes do their job as they see fit. Patience will see this through.
