✭Quick suggestion. Your cast was very biased though. I encourage you to have a Skilled raid leader or two as well to get a opinions from more of the community. All of you favor small scale pvp, that is obvious.
Not everyone likes that. Many would argue that is the minority. I think that is part of the problem with some of Zos's decisions. Listening to parts of the community vice all.
This has a lot of potential to fixing the game that many love and would come back to12 -

I think it was more the 59:00 mark, but yeah, he definitely nailed it. They all did imo.
Overall, this was really interesting, and thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts into a podcast for us. As a person who also enjoys small scale PVP and balanced fights (CPs), I'm on board with everything you guys talked about.
I made a post last night about the most fun I've ever had in PVP (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/223496/bwb-that-roe-lumber-fight-how-pvp-should-be), and I wasn't kidding. A bunch of us at DC were defending Roe lumber from AD, and the fight went on for a while. People would respawn or get ressed and come right back it was so much fun. There was a few sieging from the back lines while the rest went head on in the middle.
The fight took on two parts - there was PVP happening on either side of a building. This made it better because you didn't just have a huge blob of people in one area, so it was maybe 10-12 people fighting on either side.
There was no sieging walls, fighting off NPCs.. just open PVP between two factions at a resource. I can't even tell you what a breath of fresh air that was.
Campaigns with no CPs is a good idea. I can see that being a good place for duellers who want 100% balanced fights, so you know you've won or lost because of skill, not because someone has more passives than you.
While I like the idea of the Champion Points, the system is so broken it's not even funny. From the beginning it should have been limited to something like 300 CPs, with no intention of raising that cap. It forces people to choose their points wisely, makes it an obtainable goal for everyone and ultimately leads to more balanced fights. Having the ability to infinitely increment CPs was a terrible idea.
If we weren't that far into it I would say reset the counter and start again, but do it right this time. Unfortunately that time has long gone, so they need to rely on bandaid fixes that will result in a group of people getting annoyed either way. I hope people can learn to understand this moving forward.
Frankly, we need better PVP updates, or at least some (I'm not counting IC as a PVP DLC, sorry). Cyrodiil has become stagnant, and as I said, the most fun I've had in a long time was the resource fight last night. I hate zergs. I hate sieging walls. I just like to fight. We don't need anything fancy - some new maps that favour small scaled fights in some way would be really nice.
I guess one of the other issues I have is I feel like I'm hindered receiving CPs just because I like to duel/PVP. There really needs to be a faster way to gain them by how much you participate in Cyrodiil, not just how many zombies you killed in a 6 hour brain dead steel tornado session.
tl;dr: CPs bad. Need more small scale fights. More PVP updates. IC was not a PVP DLC.

✭✭✭I skipped around the video (didn't watch the whole thing) and I heard a lot about justice system PvP and that it will be great etc. I agree it will be great.
But, unless I am wrong, all the talk makes it seem justice system PvP is something that is an idea that will hopefully one day come to fruition. Hasn't ZOS confirmed PvP justice system long ago and they been working on it?
In the ESO Live episode where they showcased the justice system I remember the dev fielding a question about the PvP aspect and he said they are holding that off until a later update in order to finalize their plans and fine tune it. The discussion in Sypher's video makes it seem that players are pushing for it and ZOS hasn't mentioned anything about it.Edited by Publius_Scipio on October 11, 2015 6:56PM0 -

I'll offer my Templar perspective since no one on the panel mains a Templar.
Smart heals:
I do not run ball groups. Most of my groups have a max of 4-8 people in it. I think Fengrush is pretty wrong on smart healing. Basically, you guys with your stam build coordinated dps do enough single target damage that absolutely nobody is going to survive it other than maybe a full turtle DK, and you are going to just perma lock the DK and hammer them until they go down. The CP system doesn't help us out at all with your damage, like it does with magical/elemental damage, so we just have to take it to the face. How else am I supposed to keep my team alive if I can't get a heal off as soon as I see you guys spamming your wrecking blows and surprise attacks. You are going to major defile them anyway, so I'll have to try to deal with that before you kill them.
Basically, everyone on the panel is bias because you are all damage focused players, so you want people to just take your damage and die. That is the goal of every one of your builds. You have no Templar or primary support player on your panel, so they don't get their view out there.
AoE Cap:
I agree completely. Remove it. The fact that someone is in a large group should not afford them automatic damage reduction.
Dynamic Ulti Gen:
Maybe I am bias because I've been here since beta. So, I remember perma bats when the game launched. That was the worst state of the game since it launched. I do not want a return to that. If they can make dynamic ult work without going back to perma bats, I'd be okay with it, otherwise no.
Purge:
I agree completely. Cap it at 4-6 or something.
Templar:
Get someone that mains a Templar and/or support on your panel. For example, Akinos, Blabafat, DivineCross, BananaSquad_ Hellseesyou(EU player)
Imperial City Dying: This problem would be solved if they just add more stuff to the IC vendors for the Orsinium update. They should just refresh the vendors with new stuff every update.V16 Uriel Stormblessed EP Magicka Templar(main)
