Craglorn is broken

Dear ZOS, I am a Xbox player and try and get every achievement in your game currently just missing Craglorn completionist and Emperor.

I honestly think Getting Emperor will be easier for me to achieve and on Console you most likely have more players with the Emperor achievement then the Craglorn one at least from what I can see. I have 55 friends and 4 of them have the Emperor Achievement and not a single person on my friends list has completed Craglorn.

No one wants to do it, it's complicated to find a group of players to do it at the same quest as you and the gear is useless now as we are all Vet16. No one on console will buy a DLC that is at all similar to this zone so please don't make another "adventure zone" unless you make a solo option for each instance.

I finished craglorn just with my normal dungeon group after we finish the vet pledge everyday we just went to craglorn to do the quests

First off that was rude for no reason and I highly doubt you play console and have tried to do the zone after they increased the level cap.

Ps4 here, i cant stand the fact that it is group content. If it was daily quests sure, but a story driven questline? no! NO! first of all i can't find a single person to do it with. Second, if i did we would have to be on the same part of the quest or become the other person's charity case and get nothing while he/she catches up.

ZOS just look at the Console stats how many have actually finished the zone? Maybe on PC when every one was veteran 10-14 at the same time it was easy but no one does it on console or wants to.

ZOS just look at the Console stats how many have actually finished the zone? Maybe on PC when every one was veteran 10-14 at the same time it was easy but no one does it on console or wants to.

My plan is to get all VR16 perfect pve set, have a ton of CP points, and try to solo it then. At VR14 with blue gear i tried taking on bosses and i would actually bring them down to 20-30% before the adds drained on my resources too much

You still get XP for killing stuff. I wish we could still see the quest NPCs if we've done the quest. I'd listen to the Mages in The Shattered and the Lost all day...

While searching craglorn for crafting, i cant stand it. if i hear them pleading for my help one more time....

I have the ability to solo the craglotn quests but i cant because of the stupid things that force you to have a group (like four pads openinf a door ensuring there are four people there). Its bs and pretty much garunteeing no one but extreme questers will ever complete it.

I soloed a lot of Craglorn but it took a lifetime. I'm a very tanky Tank, but with little DPS, boss fights would go on for at least a half hour or so it seemed lol.

The problem with soloing Craglorn isn't the difficulty of the content--much of it can be soloable with an experienced PvEer.

The problem is that some of the quests have hard requirements on group size. E.g., "We need 4 people to stand on these things to activate the lock on this door."

Would be nice if you could "hire" 3 NPCs to Quest with you in there, in the event that you couldn't drum-up 3 other people. The "Hirelings" could do 0 DPS / 0 Buffs / 0 *anything*....but at least stand on said pressure plates.

Was soloing Direfrost Keep once, and ran into the same issue. Had to log into my other account on my other rig and stand on the plate. Then I logged-off the other dude and kicked myself out of the Dungeon. DERP!

Yeah if they took away hard requirements that would be nice start but I don't see why since the quests all seem to bring you to instances at least the one I tried why can't it give you a scaled down solo instance that gives less xp and rewards and a group instance that gives more xp and rewards but allows players to complete it without the strain of finding willing people to do the quest with you.

I would love to play in Craglorn on my own terms as I do with the rest of ESO (not PvP).

But there is a metaphorical "KEEP OUT" sign near its entrance to players like me. It comes over as elitist and for professional players only.

There is something not quite right that players who do not sub can play the entire game while others who do sub can never realise all of the game. There should be no part of ESO that is exclusive to any single player, whether they sub or not (excluding dlc).

I like to see players of all ages enjoy ESO and I do not see the better players as elitist or exclusive. It's just that places like Craglorn appeal to certain types of player while the majority of us can never know that joy.

If I was a dev, I would WANT the creativity I put into Craglorn to be appreciated by all players, not those that the company I work for effectively bans them from playing just because they lack experience.

Everybody is encouraged to play PvP in Cyrodil, so why is Craglorn such a forbidden zone to soloists? I go to Craglorn every day and kill things and have it mostly mapped out but that is as far as I can go without facing certain defeat by mobs.

Oh well.

i started craglorn quests and overland stuff at vet1, friend some people your vetlvl... craglorn is a GROUP zone, there are the cadwell silver and gold solo zones for now and Orsinium will have some great solo pve stuff. including a solo arena!!

Oh, you can have my quest NPCs, they keep following me through Craglorn (in certain areas) although I don't want to do the quests. I chop a piece of wood - she's there.. I harvest a flower - she's there.. I sprint to escape - she just spawns anew. Taking the quest doesn't always help, unfortunately. Really, I'd gladly give you mine lol

One of the most random responses I've seen in awhile on here and that takes some doing. If proof were ever needed that some people just shoehorn the term "L2P" just so they can be seen to be saying it, then this is it. Learning to play and being unable to team up with others, out of a list of 55, has nothing to do with one another.

I'd solo'd about 75% of it prior to the 1.7 update, and I now cannot kill any of the same bosses, etc I could pre 1.7.
On XBox EU there is no one doing the quests there to even tag along with. I'm a solo Pve guy without any groups or friends. (Timing & health issues make organising/grouping for me neigh on impossible.)

It was released as group content to be fair, so solo we're not supposed to be able, but there is some lovely content out there that is just hidden behind walls of adds, & bosses now beyond the killing capabilities of a mere solo non-Emperor mortal such as myself.
Seems a shame to me also that no-one is doing anything there but farming these days...and no VR15-16 drops will guarantee no one ever returns now with IC.

Yeah I love how Craglorn looks it's visually beautiful and refreshing after a couple weeks in IC but can't do anything as I NB i snuck into every delve and got the Skyshards and damn those are more detailed then most dungeons. ZOS please make this zone doable and worth doing for players.

I was going to ask if he had all the fishing acheivements as well but I thought that might be "trawling" .
