Zoning/Loading screens take forever now

The loading screen issue is terrible! The game is so frustrating now.

This game has all the potential to be amazing but the constant bugs are ruining it. Please help.

Yeah I logged in this morning and had the long first loading screen. Logged into my character and waited again. Once I was in game I hit W to move forward and had another loading screen then this happened:

Normal thing since the update but somewhat frustrating for sure to keep respawning from death drops.

The text file change helped a lot. It did reset my license agreement, and made some LUA errors, but getting rid of FTC fixed that, as it was out of date then. Atropos update on Monday fixed that too.

Nothing needed in the patch notes if this holds true for all.

That is a standard usersettings.txt file. Nothing in there that is going to help with loading screens. The lines of code:

SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"

having those set to "0" will help with stutters but not loading screens.

Its not funny now..

Taking up to 3 mins to load an instance or a place on the map, please dont say "try drivers, internet connection ok?" etc.

It was perfectly fine before the release of IC. Now its just a joke.

Yep it's pretty bad again. The loading screens were better after the last patch, although still 3-5x longer then they were prior to IC. The loss of 20-25% of my FPS on 2 systems across the board, no matter where I'm playing or how many players are on the screen is even more aggravating. Whatever 'performance optimizations" were implemented with IC are an abysmal failure.

Loading screens used to take less than 20 seconds for me, since Update 7 they take more than 100 seconds. I tried to fix the issue by applying the suggested UserSettings.txt fix that was posted on here, disabling all the add-ons, updating my graphics card drivers, performing a repair of the installation and even performing a clean installation of the game - all without any success.

I did submit a bug report in-game two days ago, but haven't received any reply yet. The details are as follows:

EU Server
PC / Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4 GHz, 8.0GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX 970, SanDisk SSD 480GX

Our engineers are still working on decreasing these loading screen times! If you're experiencing load screens of under 2-3 minutes, this is known and being investigated. If you are experiencing the longer load screens of 10-20 minutes like at the patch, please let us know.

If it helps, it seems that zoning between wayshrines in the same zone are fine. Zoning to another region is long; zoning into a delve or instance is long. This includes zoning as part of quests that teleport you to other places. I have three characters I play, and its the same for all of them.

I gotta agree here. Most people are complaining about loading screens. It was slightly annoying prior to the IC patches..but its 90% worse now. Its not because the servers are busy...maybe I could see this IF each area wasn't instanced..but they are and I could see the loading for IC being long..but this is even the newb zones..its ALL zones...dungeons etc.

Patch days are the only hope for the fix. Consoles also seem to suffer this issue now that Imp. City was released to them.

Sadly this issue totally broke the game for me. All my friends gone (again), I'm too annoyed to play so my game play is reduced to feeding horses every day. I'm grateful I'm down to 4 horses instead of more.

To be honest, it is not exactly a major issue for me and I can tolerate a minute and a half loading screen for a couple of weeks. However, I would like to know when it is going to be fixed. In other words, I would like to know for how much longer are we going to be thanked for our patience by Molly.

Long loading screens are not OK, specially since the real hard drive grind only starts after they're gone.

Anyway, I have about a week of horse feeding to do, then I guess I'll just leave. Most of my friends are already gone because of this bug, I swore I'd never pay another cent to ZOS until some of the issues get fixed that were, and still are present since beta (example: Cyrodiil).

Not buying the expansion, and having already "wasted" 3 weeks not playing got me underleveled compared to the rest of the players who decided to endure this ***. This makes it even harder for me to grow my characters.

Thank you ZOS for all the wonderful hours I spent in your game (more then 2.5K hours by now), but I guess it'll be a firm good bye in a week or so...

We are having issues with many of our guild members getting booted off the server while trying to go into the DC alliance entrance. Resulting in them getting ganked by the griefers camping the door, then having to queue all over again.
